When we arrived we found out that we were cheated with the room type. We had paid for a Superior room and they gave us a Standard. No action was taken by the hotel, they blamed the partner (trip.com) who closed it for us. And the associate replied that we can leave if we want and there is nothing he can do. Unacceptable behavior towards the customer from both sides. The cleanliness of the room is very lacking, sheets were not changed after 3 nights. The morning nice but repetitive. The breakfast girl who is also at the beach service is very kind. Although the location of the hotel is worthy, it lags behind in many respects.

Great beach location
The Golden Beach Hotel location is amazing! The hotel lacks personality, but it has a great beachfront location. The breakfast is wonderful, and Housekeeping does a great job to keep the rooms spotless. This hotel could be so special with just a bit of care.

Nice quiet location with a nice view. Decent breakfast. Only 1 restaurant nearby - but it was very good. Grounds around pool needs work. Bar was never open (9/16-19).

A wonderful hotel 1 block from the beach and 5 minutes into core old town. From our arrival it was clear that the host cares about his guests. All staff are great. Plenty of daily recommendations are offered. An absolute treasure.

Golden Milos Beach Stay
The overall experience was nothing less than horrible and disappointing. The condition of the property is very poor. From the public areas to the guest rooms. The property is in desperate need of a renovation and general maintenance. The guest room had many broken items that no one cared about at the property including the owner. I strongly do not recommend this property.

I reserved and paid in advance for a sea view room. I was given a room without a sea view. The hotel refused to move me to a sea view room or give me a refund of the difference between a sea view and non sea view room. A total ripoff.
Worse than that, there was no hot water all week except for a few hours every afternoon. My shower didn’t drain properly, and the sink didn’t hold water. There was nobody to help me with my luggage when I left. I was glad to leave.

un hotel au bout de l'ile sans moyen de communication 4 passages de bus public par jour dont le 1er à 10h50 ....sans voiture de location c'est dur de visiter l'ile par ailleurs une responsable réception froide et peu accueillante l'évier bouché dans la SdB en bref je le déconseille vivement

Isolated with very limited dining options and the bars close at 8pm. The only nearby taverna was lovely though. Rooms are basic for a 4 star property, although clean. Pool area nice. Beach is public so gets very busy.
