Melagrana

The first night we were there, there was a shortcut in their electricity. Only two rooms were cut and ours was one of them. The manager didn’t seem to know how to fix the problem and said it wasn’t the hotels problem. In the end after about an hour of waiting they offered us another room, since we didn’t have air conditioning in +- 30 degree heat. The day we left we realized my partner forgot his I-watch in the room. When he went back he had to look for it and eventually found it damaged and broken, hidden in a bag. He confronted them and they said this wasn’t their doing and blamed me for being negligent and breaking my partners watch and not telling him, quite ridiculous. After talking to them they agreed to give him a compensation for our damaged goods. Overall the guy that worked at the counter (Panos) was friendly and gave us some recommendations on things to see and beaches to visit. But we won’t return here.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough, was a fantastic visit, great staff, centrally located everything you needed. They helped arrange car rentals and helped out whenever we needed it. Rooms were spacious and AC was great which was needed in September.

Had a lovely stay at the Melagrana. Rooms are clean and a good size, the balcony is great, makes it super easy to hang out clothes to dry. Location is very central, near the port with bakeries and restaurants around. It’s at the back of a car park which may deter some people but there was never any issue with noise. Staff are exceptional especially the hotel manager and also the cleaner Panos. I couldn’t talk more highly about how friendly and helpful the staff are.

My partner and I were on an island hopping holiday in Greece and decided to base ourselves in Adamas in Milos for 4 nights We were very lucky to find the Melagrana We arrived by ferry and it was a 5 minute walk from the Port to this lovely peaceful guest house .The rooms are modern,spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean with light airy bathrooms and good air conditioning and wifi. We had a lovely spacious secluded terrace The staff are really helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to visit Although breakfast is available we found an excellent bakers just across the road There are several car hire companies nearby too There are beach towels in the room and parasols are available at reception which are great for visits to the beaches We really enjoyed our stay here

From start to finish, the hotel was amazing. The service by the front desk staff was excellent, as they were friendly, caring, and good listeners. Melagrana was one of our favorite hotels of our entire 16 day trip. If we come back to Milos, we would definitely want to come back here. The entire facility was clean, beautifully maintained, and well-taken care of. The bathrooms were bright and airy. I was wondering if the rooms were brand new because they were kept that well. Hotel WiFi was good. The breakfast was delicious. Love all the natural fruit and olive trees around the property. Will definitely be coming back!

I was really disappointed in this accomodation. On the positive side, it's close to the port and town. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is delivered on time exactly. The room is clean but this is much more like a motel accommodation and not a room that you spend $350 per night for. There are no views but the patio is nice but nothing like the pictures. Would not stay here again and would not recommend.
