Levantes Ios Boutique Hotel

I'm not sure about the negative reviews here. We loved our stay at this lovely spot. We were there ahead of high season, so perhaps that's part of our good experience. It was not crowded. The setting and views are nice, the decor is boho beach, and the vibe is very relaxing. Nights were quiet. Our room was very clean and fresh, and the bed was firm. Our room had had a sunny balcony that overlooked the sea. It's nestled on the cliff side, so yes, there are a lot of steps. And the walk to and from the beach is steep. However, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and you can you take the buses to the beach or the town or port. The buses are nice and they ran on schedule. Taxis are also easy to find. One the biggest perks imo was the included breakfast, which was delicious! It was the best included breakfast we found at any place we stayed. In fact, it spoiled us for everywhere else we stayed. Look carefully around as there are numerous dried, preserved, and fresh fruits, yummy cheeses, and various pastries each day, on top of the muesli and cereals, eggs, and meats. There's a decent coffee/cappuccino self serve machine for breakfast, as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It was a relaxing and chill place to come back to after exploring Ios.

Honestly one of the best hotels ive stayed in. We came as a large group for a wedding party and everyone really enjoyed their stay at levantes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was spotless and clean. The views were gorgous from the hotel looking over Mylopotas beach, which was only a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was such good quality with a huge range of options for all guests to choose from. The hotel never seemed too busy or overcrowded and we had a very relaxing stay. Everything was fabolous and cant fault anything, we cannot wait to go back again.

Sewage smell in paradise The proximity to the beach and the service at the bar was a high point. However the property itself, especially our room and hallway to our room, had a distinct smell of sewage. We also smelled it at various other locations like by the pool in certain areas. Our room and hallway both had pungent artificial air fresheners, which made things worse - making it smell like a public toilet. When we brought this to the attention of the management they acted shocked, as if they had no idea what we were talking about. The air freshener placement shows otherwise. We will be back to Ios but not this hotel.

Understated luxury - greek charm Stunning hotel, charming touches in the rooms, modern,clean and thought about the details. Even down to supplying mozzie coils. Lovely terrace in the junior suite that overlooks Mylopotas Beach. Great pool and bar area. Overall a lovely luxurious stay.
