First, when we visited, there was a new set of stairs down to the water that were excellent. Second, the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The cabin is plain, but very functional. The location is quiet, very quiet. There are cars going by on the road but very few. There are boaters on the lake, but only a couple at a time. One night the loons were out and it was very nice. If you take the stairs down to the bottom and the weather is clear, you can see Katahdin.I would stay there again.

Enjoyed ourselves! Construction/building equipment around and difficulty getting kids to water safely was only downside-however, my assumption is that the building things are to solve the accesssibiltiy to water piece so future guests likely won't have this barrier. Overall the camp was very cozy and clean

This is a true maine camp, water pumped from the pond, simple no frill but everything you need. There's a his and hers outhouse if you want to use it. The place was perfect.

South Twin August 2024 Our stay was great because I’m from Millinocket. We understand the wilderness and know where to go for recreation and who to contact for help and advice. The boating is great, but bring your own and understand you won’t have a slip, morning or beach without, rocks to tie up to. Turkey Tail road is dirt but maintained better than most.A low car might bottom out.so take your time, rocks in the road are usually painted to help avoid them. The mountain is out your back door .We had a great time, and hope to comeback again!
