Hampton Inn & Suites Millington

Average stay, average to below average front desk customer service. Lobby was nice and expansive, room was acceptable but showing some wear. I couldn’t keep the fitted sheet on, too small? Breakfast workers were nice and attentive. Food was good but not the selection that I had hoped for. In summary, I like Hampton inn and this one just wasn’t as good as normal. Average

I can’t begin to tell you how seamless and nice our stays have been over the last couple years. I travel with a large baseball program. It’s extremely relieving to be traveling with so many people and have such great experiences at the hotel. And all the employees are first class. This is a must stay place if you’re in the area.

The shower/tub combo would not drain and it had nasty looking particles floating in the standing water. Called the desk and they said they were booked up and there was nothing they can do. Housekeeping had to know of this problem if the tub was ever cleaned.

Got a confirmation about our room. Showed up at the hotel to check in and were informed that the hotel was over booked and our reservation had been moved 7 miles north to a comfort inn. Never got a call or email stating this change. We canceled our reservation and decided to sleep on the floor at our family members house.

Rooms need to be updated. Walk-in Shower has mold on ceiling also base caulking as well !!! Chair in room had spots in seat didn't use it !!!. Not at all what you expect from Hampton Inn & Suites . Stayed at better Hampton Inn first time at its Suites and was disappointed with it's quality and cleanliness. Staff has great attitude towards its customers four star treatment. One star room quality.

The Hampton Inn Millington was the host hotel for my family’s reunion in July. From the moment of check-in and throughout the entire weekend, the entire staff made sure that we felt welcomed. Kudos to David Burnett - General Manager, Tevion, Sharday, Nancy, Cassie and Todd. They were all very attentive and provided a positive experience for the entire family. We had more than 50 family members staying at the hotel for an of 3 nights. The rooms were comfortable and the lobby area was kept clean. I highly recommend this location and will stay there again if I’m ever in the area.

Awful experience. Drove hours to get into town to visit family and upon entering the hotel to unload the individual at the counter informed me they had to relocate us to a completely different hotel although I had a reservation confirmation email. The desk worker claimed they were booked up, I called the manager who informed me that the rooms had a water leak due to heavy rain in the area. Although there had been no rain the past few days. Then the hotel they put us in, which is owned by the same company only has one entrance all other doors are missing the access key card readers, vending machines are empty of all snacks and our room has damage to the closet door and paint etc.

My family and I were at the hotel for an extended period of time. My children were accommodated to the best of their ability from the hotel workers. Everyone was generous. For the amount of time we were there I do not have any complaints.

I reserved 2 dbl rooms back in December. I called on our day of arrival (Feb 17) to confirm.I had them put in my file that we would be arriving late so that they would keep my rooms. I had gotten an email confirmation that morning for 2 double rooms . Front desk called me that morning that my credit card was declined, when in fact he entered the number wrong, twice. I confirmed my double rooms with him too. When we got there, they had no dbls left and gave us kings with sofa .They were not apologetic about it at all and kinda laughed about it. Not cool at all and very awkward due to the company we were with. The sheets on the bed were for a double, not a king and kept coming off so we had to remake the bed ourselves after requesting new sheets. The mattress itself had several blood stains on it. Chair was completely stained like someone with exploded a coke or pooped their pants. It was too disgusting to sit in. The duvet on the bed was not put together right and it was lumpy. It was laughable. Huge big black crack all the way across the sink. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here while there for a baseball tournament. Last year they overbooked and while we got our room, some coaches were shorted as many as 4 rooms. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I won't be staying here next time. Do better Hilton.
