Property Description
This Wastach mountain home is located at the base of Utah's three most famous canyons. Enjoy the spacious floor plan and the cozy atmosphere. Newly remodeled bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. A patio with barbecue, complimentary hot drinks. This property is near a nature park and an equestrain park. Views of horses from the back windows and patio. One block to the grocery store, gas, and restaurants.
The space
This space is 1500 square feet with large bedrooms. It has been fully remodeled. New paint, carpet, windows, bathroom, and kitchen.
There is a patio that over looks a large yard, and an equestrian center that is located behind the home. Horses are typically in view and you will occasionally see foxes.
The living room has plenty of seating room with a couch and loveseat for viewing the 55 inch smart TV that is mounted above a natural wood burning fireplace. Basic Cable TV is available and WiFi for utilizing your streaming accounts.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, cookware, and everything you will need to prepare your own meals. It has a Keurig and all the coffee you can drink. There is a table that seats 8.
The bathroom has been updated. The bathroom has a shower and is accessible from the main hall near the bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, a night stand, a leather chair, a small desk and plenty of closet space.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, nightstand, a leather chair and a large closet.
Bedroom #3 has two queen beds, and 2 nightstands and a closet.
The property has all new furnishings. New mattresses, couches, bedding, and bath linens.
There is a washer and dryer with detergent provided.
The property has a ring alarm system for additional security available for you to use.
This unit is the lower level of an up/down duplex. The back side of the unit is on the ground level. This is a completely separate unit. It has a separate driveway for parking and a separate entrance. The unit also has its own climate control with full installation and sound barriers.
The is a large park/green space 3 houses down. It has a walking/running path that is great for getting outside. There are about a dozen foxes that live in the space and you will typically see a few of them. There is a playground in the park that you can walk to.
A few things you should know.
- The property is located on a busier street but in a nice neighborhood.
- The unit is the bottom floor of a duplex. The units are completely separate.
The equestrian center behind the house is nice, it makes the house very private and it's fun to see the horses, however, sometimes you can smell the horses outside. We never smell them inside but occasionally outside.
We don't allow any smoking on the premises.
- There is only one bathroom.

Overall a great stay.
We enjoyed ourselves at this rental property. The one thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star review is the because the upstairs guests/tenant decided to throw a party Thursday night and we could hear them from all hours of the night. I knew we would hear some noise due to staying in the basement but I didn’t realize that we would have people upstairs having a party on a Thursday night. The location of the property is on a busy road and that was mentioned to us before check in. That aspect did not bother us and we were able to get in and out of the driveway easily. You had to walk down stairs to get to the entrance of the basement. My mother has health concerns and it would have been nice to have a railing to hold onto while walking up and down the stairs. The bedrooms were nicely updated and the single bathroom was spacious enough to not be a problem to have one bathroom during our stay. Communication with the owner of the property was great and we had no issues with getting into the rental. Overall we enjoyed our time at this location.

Memorial
My family of seven stayed for one night before being at a memorial service the next day. The code we were given didn’t work, but the owners answered the phone right away and gave us a new code that worked great. The house was clean with a large backyard and we all slept great. Thanks!

Not super impressed
When we got to the house after 4, as per request, we didn’t have the codes to get in. I had to message them 3 times with no response and then track their number down to call them. They had a sign to not wear shoes in the rental. That was not my favorite because of a foot injury I have. The kitchen wasn’t cleaned. It had food stuck to the counter next to the sink, crumbs on the counters, the fridge was dirty inside and leaked water on the floor. They asked us to start the dishwasher before we left but it hadn’t even been unloaded. The outlets in two of the rooms would spark if anything was plugged in and it was missing outlet covers in places. For the price I paid, I was hoping for a better situation.
