3-Star Hotels in Millbrae

The hotel are comfortable and in an exceptionally convenient location. The staff are friendly, helpful, and responsive. There are light breakfast items plus coffee and tea for the first night, and close by are two supermarkets and several small shops for following days. Light breakfast is available every day on ground floor. Coffee and tea are available all day. The sitting areas (indoors and outdoors) are comfortable. A resident may bring a guest for coffee, which is convenient for a short meeting. We have stayed twice at this facility, each time for a week, and will return again because of the reasonable price, location, and excellent staff.

On the 3rd day of my stay, I found out that I have to deduct up to 4 dollars in taxes every day 😐 It is unheard of to deduct it directly from the deposit. . . . Forget it, it's not easy to have a motel with an elevator. I can see how interested the builder was at the beginning. I don't know if he is the current operator.

That breakfast was surpassingly amazing. There were multiple choices of eggs and the ones with bacon, and vegetables was better than most other places breakfast buffets. Hats off to the morning chef, their cooking was better than most diners.

Facilities: quite complete, there is 24-hour coffee and tea supply on the first floor, very convenient Hygienic: very clean, the whole hotel is relatively new Environment: Very good, the surrounding environment is also very good Service: Especially good, the waiter is enthusiastic, because the cash is not enough, the little girl at the front desk helped to swipe the credit card and gave me some cash.

Stayed here for one night prior to going to SFO the next day. People at the check in desk were very nice. The breakfast was surprisingly diverse and good for a small hotel (waffle maker, 6 choices of dry cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, hard boiled eggs, steamed rice, breads and muffins, and juices, coffee and teas). Room and bathroom were immaculate. As clean as we have ever seen any hotel room. Fireplace in the room but it wasn't chilly enough for us to use it. Towels were softer than average. Bed was comfortable, not like a mattress worn to one side. Pillows didn't collapse as much as most hotels. Small microwave and fridge in the room (see pic). Only downside would be if you want to spend more than 1-2 days in the room, due to lack of drawer and closet space (see pic). Liked the separate recycling bin. We would absolutely stay here next time we need to be near SFO. Can't imagine a better place for the price.

The room was nice and had a mini-kitchen. The property is newer and is well-maintained. Great location, walking distance to the BART station, convenience stores, and restaurants. Only two minor issues: 1. The don’t offer free water beyond the first 2 they give you at check-in. You have to buy or bring more. 2. Their point of sale is not set up to bypass PIN codes for overseas credit cards, so we had to switch the method of payment, which was inconvenient. Beyond that, the staff was friendly and we would stay there again.

We stayed here after our Alaskan cruise because we had a 7:30 flight the next morning. The room was great, the location was great and the restaurant was good but we weren't that hungry so we had a light dinner and went to bed early. Great little place.

This is a great little hotel that would be ideal for business trips. We traveled as a family with kids for a short trip and it was still great for that purpose; free parking and small grounds were quiet with no issues. There is an excellent sushi restaurant attached to it, a hidden gem and probably best part of staying here. We ate there for several dinners because it was so convenient for the kids and go straight to bed rather than venture out for meals after a long day out. The hotel room itself was nothing to write home about but always clean, and housekeeping stocked us up well. Also, there was a small kitchen inside our room so we could wash dishes, microwave and refrigerate leftovers, and even a stove and oven if needed. Free Breakfast was just a small room with some pre-packed pastries and hard boiled eggs, toast, juice, etc. so don’t expect too much there. But the location was perfect for our needs. There was also a pool and tastefully-decorated lounging area that was mostly empty, along with a gate leading into the courtyard that made it feel safe. All in all, a decent spot to stay for a short trip.

The best choice for transit in San Francisco. The hotel is right next to the terminal. You can arrive in San Francisco at night and transfer to the next morning flight. It is so convenient to check in directly without leaving the airport.
