Lovely quaint place to stay
This was a lovely stay had a really if spacious room with everything you could need for a few days stay view from room 8 lovely its quite oldy worldy but has so much character, bed big and spacious loads of storage space for 2. Had breakfast which was grand only thing was the getting up and down 4 to 5 times to keep topping up the tea food which are quite small, it would be a better idea to have little teapots that you could fill at the start of your breakfast instead of teabag in a small cup and having to continually top up with the hot water pump flask, this is my only gripe over our 2 nights stay. All staff were very welcoming and friendly.

This was our second visit to this hotel and the first time seemed more pleasant than the second. The property is old and feels a bit unorganized…from the staff serviceability to the miscellaneous bits and pieces of items randomly placed. Maybe thats apart of the charm.

Stayed here many times and still doesn’t disappoint. The Beach House is a former extraordinary large former home with its panelled rooms galleried landings and quirky bedrooms. The staff are welcoming and the food of a good quality, pub style but the meals we had on this last visit were very nice.

Second stay for us. We had the indulgence room this time. Amazing bathroom and the housekeeping staff were amazing. Didn't expect daily clean. We had dinner in the restaurant first night which was good with friendly service. Wonderful breakfast, good selection Location is perfect for hiking, head for the forest or the coastal path. Bus back from Bournemouth if too much to walk back. Overall a lovely stay and credit to the staff who create a lovely atmosphere.

Very warm, welcoming place. It still had the feeling of the family home that it once was.
