I would have to agree with the other reviews, The front desk worker was very rude and arrogant and didn’t have a care in the world, or accommodate any of our complaints. This Motel 6 was very disappointing and dirty. Cigarette butts everywhere outside and noise ordinance was not met. Pool was not open, there should be no reason for it to be closed on summer days. That is the reason why I chose Motel 6. With all these bad reviews, why has no one, like corporate look into these issues. Just so disappointing that you come to stay for a few days to get away and pictures are deceiving. I will pay the extra money for one of your competitors!!!

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. DO NOT STAY HERE. Despite claiming to be smoke-free, the entire property—hallways and rooms alike—reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The room itself was filthy: there was a hair on the sheets, food stains on the curtains, and even a hole in the bathroom door. My window looked out onto a drained pool, which was probably just as dirty and neglected as everything else. There were shady individuals lingering around the property, and the staff was incredibly rude. I checked in at 3 PM for an event, left for the evening, and returned only to realize I couldn’t bear staying there. I checked out that same night, just a few hours later. When I asked for a receipt at checkout, I was told they couldn’t provide one because I had booked through a third-party site. I called the booking site right after leaving. When I finally received the receipt, it falsely stated that I had checked out the following day. Extremely shady. This place is neither safe nor clean. Avoid it at all costs.

I visited the area in June. My friend found this place and it was a deal but…you get what you pay for. The room smelled clean but visually not so much. Questionable stuff on the walls in the bathroom. The furniture was in tough shape. When I turned down the bed I discovered very late the there wasn’t a top sheet. After trying to use the in house phone (which didn’t work) I went to the front desk only to be greeted with “everything is locked up” so I was missing half the bed linens. Finally to top it off a very large beetle shows up on the ceiling eeewwwww. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Needs a revamp with staff and a remodel/cleaning
There is an odor throughout the building, the room was not cleaned at all, sticky floors, hair everywhere blood stain in the grout on the bathroom floor, everything looked dirty. It appeared that they just change the bedding and put new towels and soap in the room. Super cheap, I guess we got what we paid for. Will not stay there again.

The word Hospitality means nothing at Motel6
If being verbally abused and treated like your presence is a burden to the employees at the front desk...Then by all means stay at the Motel 6 in Milford, Ct. Rude doesnt come close to explaining the way you will be talked to, being yelled at is a common practice along with accumulating filth everywhere you look. I remained pleasant, respectful and courteous because I don't have to become a product of the day time front desk employees. Unless your forced to stay there from a lack of options consider sleeping in the wooded area in the back by the swamp. You will have a much better time, I promise the mosquitoes will treat you with far more respect and human kindness. I feel for all the unfortunate souls that have to stay there longterm out of desperation.
