It is not far from Dongfengyun and the wine cellar. I liked the secluded and quiet village with the expansive vineyards right next to the hotel. The proprietress is truly kind. Thank you for upgrading my room, and I also appreciate you dropping me off at Mireuk Station early in the morning. The room is clean and spacious, which is great. The MGallery Dongfengyun is an absolute design masterpiece, where the hotel itself is a destination, even more enjoyable and photogenic than the actual attractions. Located within the scenic area, it's a short walk to the Kaleidoscope Art Museum, saving you the hassle of entrance tickets. The architectural aesthetics are incredibly atmospheric; every corner, from the pool to the lobby, is perfect for photos. The front desk even upgraded our room, offering a fantastic view of the Kaleidoscope directly from our window. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing an excellent experience with plenty of children's activities that kept the kids highly engaged. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including many local specialties. Parking was convenient for self-drivers, making it ideal for family vacations and photo opportunities. The only drawback was that the travel photography package only included 5 digital photos for free. Purchasing additional photos or packages was quite expensive. It would be great if they could offer more affordable packages; this would not only acknowledge the photographers' work but also enhance the guest experience and create better memories.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly because of its quiet atmosphere and attention to detail. The room I stayed in featured an onsen-style bathtub combined with a shower area, and I appreciated that the hotel provided a bottle of sanitizing solution to enhance hygiene and guest comfort. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers self-service laundry facilities, including washing machines and dryers on the rooftop, which is very convenient for longer stays. Guests are also welcome to use the rooftop onsen pool, providing a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. Although the rooms do not come with a minibar, the hotel compensates by offering complimentary ice cream and additional bottled drinking water at the reception level. While the ice cream was not delicious, the extra refreshments were a thoughtful touch. It will be good if the hotel not to allow guests smoke in common area such as dining hall for breakfast. Overall, this hotel stands out for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, convenient access to food and park, and thoughtful amenities at very reasonable room rate. I would gladly stay here again.

Although the room rate was slightly higher than usual during the summer holidays, it was still excellent value for money. The complimentary experiential activities were genuine and well-executed, not just for show. The environment was lovely, and the room was very clean. The check-in receptionist, Mitao, was also very enthusiastic. They arranged shuttle transfers whenever we needed to go somewhere, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the Kaleidoscope. We'll definitely come again next time. (I recommend staying in the main building, as many activities like hot springs and singing bowls are located there.)

This time, I stayed at the Venus Hotel with my child, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hot spring area had many pools with excellent water quality; a soak there was incredibly relaxing. The swimming pool water was clear, and the environment was spacious and great for photos. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, and check-in was swift. My child loved the hotel. It’s definitely a top choice for a family vacation, and I'll choose to stay here again on my next holiday.

Room looks exactly like the advertised picture. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. As all the rooms are located on the 2nd floor and there is no lift or elevator, a male staff helps to carry our luggage to the room. Room is big and is near to almost all attractions. An unexpected perk was the bathroom heater light—a total game-changer after a shower. Downside: no lift / elevator. Breakfast is way too simple. A bowl of “mixian” & an egg will be served separately along with few items like steamed peanuts, mantou, sweet potato from the buffet area. No fridge in the room. Very quiet area at night. With minimal food and activities. There is one 7-11 in the park, with operating hours till 7pm.

The hotel is well positioned within the resort establishments of Dongfenyun. However, only those individual villa units have tubs for soaking. However, it is not ”hot springs” as advertised in the name. Not to be confused with the type of 'onsen' in Japan. . By booking this accommodation, we can access the attractions in Dongfengyun area without having to pay extra entry fees for Dongfengyun scenic area. Buggy transfers are provided by the hotel into Dongfengyun area. We like the simple and healthy breakfast, which is freshly prepared every morning. Mile is a quick getaway just 40 mins south of Kunming. Hence, there are many day trippers in Mile.

The facilities here are really great, completely exceeding my expectations! 👌 Both the equipment and the decor are very modern. Plus, the environment is excellent, perfect for hanging out with friends. Most importantly, their service is exceptional; it feels very thoughtful and comfortable. The air conditioning temperature was just right, the bedding was soft and cozy, and the toiletries were all individually packaged, making them convenient and reassuring to use.

This was a wonderful surprise—this was my first time in Mile and the hotel was so affordable. It turned out to provide exceptional service. The room was big and bright, and just 20 meters away there were so many food choices. It was easy to take the bus to all the local sights. The reception staff were so kind in advising me on how to take the regional bus to Jianshui. Honghe Water Village is just opposite, that is, you can get there from Qianwang Gate. During the Spring Festival, fireworks are set off at the city wall gate at night. The location is very good, and there are many food nearby. The soundproofing of the room is very poor, and you can hear the conversation outside clearly in the room. The water for taking a shower at night is hot and cold, and it is difficult to adjust to a balance point unless you take a shower after 12 o'clock in the evening. The service is pretty good, this is a hotel similar to a homestay 🏨.
