Popular Mildura 4-star Hotels

Located in the CBD with walking distance to everything in town & the river, including the gin distillery! Very quiet room, but overlooking the roof. Carpet very worn in places and possibly on the verge of being a trip hazard. Room was spacious & comfortable, room service meals cooked at the hotel were better than expected and a decent size. Old building and rustic in ways, so hallways go off in all directions, lift available but easy to walk up the stairs. Parking in the centre easy to get in and out of.

Reception asked for CC at check in to accommodate extras and damages. Immediately assuming that a guest will damage the room is grossly insulting and if we had not already paid, I would have walked out. The receptionist needs hospitality training!!! When we found the room, we realized that there was a second sliding door into the center of the facility. It already had a key in the lock, so the room was not secure and could easily have been left insecure if we had not accidentally discovered the key. There is no breakfast, despite the Wotif listing. The restaurant is only open some nights of the week and for a limited time in the evening, and the bar did not open as signed. So effectively there is no bar/lounge. The table in the room has a mismatched pair of chairs. Relatively cheap accommodation. The facilities and service do not excite. Its barely OK.

I regularly stay in Mildura and surrounds for work, and I have to say, the Chaffey is one of our favourites. The chef, kitchen staff and general dining experience is what makes booking here worthwhile. They could not have done more to make our couple of days there more pleasant. The food was outstanding, the gin even better and the conversation/banter second to none! I am not sure if there are new managers/owners this year but the cleanliness of the accommodation part of the Chaffey has dropped a little, hence not a five star- but it wouldn’t take much to bring it back to what it used to be. You can tell these guys are really trying to get back on their feet after Covid and I have no doubt they will get there. Some constructive feedback would be to pay a bit more attention to the outdoor spaces, cobwebs under chairs, clean the pool glass, general tidy up of the little veggie space etc.. In the rooms, the bathrooms are starting to show their age but in general they are a lot better than many other motel type accommodation! I look forward to seeing you all next month!

We stayed in a king executive. Very comfortable bed and neat and tidy bathroom. Nice sitting area. Did not have time to use the pool but looked very inviting and clean. Even though room was near the highway, did not hear any road noise. Would recommend this place whilst in Mildura.

We stayed at the Mildura Holiday Villas in early January. We stayed in a three bedroom unit with our family and found it excellent. It was spacious, well fitted out, and had everything we needed. The whole facility is very neat and tidy, with a lot of attention to detail. Our unit also had a shaded carpark right outside our door, and a shaded patio area. There is also a communal barbecue area. Our unit was also very shady and cool with multiple aircon units, and as the temperature was 42 degree while we were there, this came in very handy. Also great was the pool, which our children spent a lot of time in. We would definitely stay at the Mildura Holiday Villas again and recommend it to others.

I always stay, but it's a really good hotel. The location is excellent. The room was large and satisfying. The food was delicious.

At that time, I placed the order late and then the front desk did not receive the card swiping record. We had to swipe the card again. It was a waste of nearly an hour. Fortunately, the customer service was completed immediately.

Very clean and tidy hotel right in centre of Mildura. We got 1 bed with balcony room. Easy check in (although daunting when you receive check in email instructions). Comfy bed. A little noisy due location. Walking distance to resturants. Only downside was bird mess on balcony didnt make it nice to sit out there. Hotel obviously trying to prevent birds but droppings on railing and floor were unpleasant. Friendly staff. Parking is free but limited and not secure. Overall positive stay and we would consider staying there next time we travelling through.
