To be honest it was the staff who were the best. Roxy was the most energetic and enthusiastic receptionist ever (and waitress); Michele was so kind even hand drawing a map to Park Run for us; Laura was so friendly and attentive at breakfast.

was thrilled to discover I'd been upgraded to the honeymoon suite (celebrating my 50th birthday) and what an amazing room it was! slept like a log. very friendly staff, always someone about if you needed them. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Have stayed before and will stay again. Thank you!!

Have stayed here a few times and have noticed it's deterioration. Looks and feels tired. Check in was slow despite doing the online check in. Advised no space for 6pm dining. When we sat outside for a drink only 2 tables occupied . We came inside as kept getting bothered by wasps. The lady took our order even though it was early. We went to our room in a bare floor lift that barely contained the two of us. Our room was tired. Carpet was old and looked dusty as did most of the hotel . Bed side tables were poorly finished . Bathroom tired. Toilet flush very weak. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows like biscuits. TV remote didn't work. The only saving grace was that the room had air con. It was a very hot night. Breakfast was nice as was previous nights meal. The inside and outside need a lot of money spending on it. For £138 expected better

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I stay frequently following my first visit in April. Effective Free WiFi, Nice clean rooms, plenty of parking and the small pot of sweets in each room is a nice touch. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is superb.

Family gathering for Sunday Lunch. Booked through Book A Table. Received email confirmation but had a couple of questions Despite emailing twice.. no response. Meal was very good Plenty offered...But Why o why can't restaurants serve hot food on hot plates We were brought our meat choices Noticed plates were luke war Waited some time for veg. by which time plates and food going cold quickly Shame as it could have been a 5-star rating otherwise Food very good Waiting staff very good Nice ambience

Friendly staff Food fabulous Room clean and comfortable Stopped here for 3 nights, while experiencing ' Thetford Live ' Hottest days of the year so far, thank goodness they had air con. Massively bonus.
