Hotels in San Siro, Milan

My wife got a good deal on this hotel. At first it seems out of the way, but it is close to M1 underground line (Gambara closest stop). Plus there were quite a few very good restaurants within walking distance (＜15 min). We walked in to the centre of the city a number of times - around 40 minutes, but no big deal for us. I'd joined my wife at the last minute and the hotel were very generous and didn't request a supplement, which was not expected and obviously highly appreciated! All staff were polite and courteous. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast room on the top floor was great - light and bright with views west over the roof tops. We would recommend this hotel!

Business hotel suitable for business trip, convenient transportation, 4 subway stops to the cathedral, there is a basement to park but only four cars can be parked, the service is relatively warm. There are not many types of western breakfast but the taste is good. If you are free at night, there are hand-made leather goods shops and flea markets next to you. Overall pretty good 👍

If you have never visited Milan, Italy, you might want to give it a thought. And if you do decide to go, consider staying at the Sheraton Milan San Siro. Even though this hotel is located just inside a big city, it is surrounded by green spaces. Beautifully updated and decorated, refreshing, clean and pleasantly relaxing would be my description of this property. I especially enjoyed the views of the garden from the bar area. The staff at the hotel completes the perfect picture of an amazing stay. From the moment I arrived and was greeted at the front desk by Francesco, till my departure seven days later, the staff went above and beyond to insure I had a wonderful experience. Thank you Francesco for all your help, suggestions, kindness and for making me feel welcome. You are a dedicated and admirable person and I am delighted to see someone like you working in the tourism industry. In addition, I would like to recognize Fernando, who assisted me with my luggage, offered suggestions for things to do and places to visit and answered a multitude of tourist type questions. I appreciate your help, patience and your smile and wish you all the best in your future with the Sheraton. Conveniently located in the hotel, is a very nice bar and restaurant. Sometimes the food is excellent and sometimes it isn’t. I ate at the hotel daily and most of the time I enjoyed my meal. Breakfast is outstanding and there are lots of good healthy choices. My advice to future visitors, give it a try ….. and when you do, say hello to Luca at the bar. Luca definitely does his best to make sure you get good service and I for one am thankful for his continued efforts to always give 100% to every guest, no matter how busy he is! I used the gym every day and the equipment and the view are the best you can imagine. I definitely appreciate the maintenance and housekeeping in this area of the hotel. Everything worked perfectly and there was always clean towels, water and cleaning wipes. Generally speaking, the housekeeping at the Sheraton Marriott San Siro is outstanding. Since I am a Lifetime Titanium member with Marriott, I can assure you that I understand good housekeeping and this hotel has achieved a very high level of consistency in this area. Congratulations on a job well done. There are many helpful people who work at this hotel, unfortunately I can’t mention every person I came in contact with, but I do want to say thank you to Jessica at the front desk for her shopping suggestions. Most women all over the world appreciate good shopping advice and without Jessica’s suggestions I would have missed one the the best opportunities of my trip! Thanks so much Jessica, for taking the time and having the interest in helping me locate my favorite shopping area ever. I sincerely appreciate it. We stayed here while in Milan for a concert at San Siro and chose the location for that (it's about a 25-30 min walk from the stadium, meaning we didn't need to queue for public transport at the end). However I actually really liked the location in general, being outside the busy centre and well connected by metro lines and buses. The building is really cool and interesting, being a converted church. Rooms were small but modern and fresh. Breakfast was good - although staff were v slow to replenish items. Loved the little seating area outside reception where we sat enjoying a drink before dinner. The pool area looked nice but was quite small and crowded when we checked it out.

Terrible experiencia. El hotel no es malo, la ubicación un tanto lejos pero eso no es lo peor, sus equipos como sus cajas de seguridad no Funcionan y nos robaron 1000 dolares, estábamos desayunando cuando decido volver a la habitación a recoger mi celular llevarme la sorpresa de ver 4 integrantes del equipo de ama de llaves en la habitación, aunque lo notamos un poco extraño decidimos hacer caso omiso, al volver en la tarde a la habitación ya listos para ir a cenar uno de mis compañeros decide tomar efectivo de la caja fuerte y nota que le hace falta dinero al percatarnos de esto revisamos y nos habian tomado 1000 usd de las carteras guardadas dentro de la caja fuerte, bajamos a la recepción para pedir no podrían leer las aperturas de nuestra puerta y de la caja de seguridad junto con las camaras, a lo que nos contesta la señorita Giulia que por razones de seguridad en el pais de italia no podían hacer eso sin una denuncia en el ministerio público, así es... a las 9 pm fui a meter la denuncia de la cual regresé al hotel a las 3 am, el recepcionista en turno ya al tanto de la situación me pide una copia de dicha denuncia, a la mañana siguiente nos citaron la señorita Giulia y la señorita Sonia Bentaleb quien se presentó como la gerente en turno, despues de unos minutos de platicar y de que ellos no nos pudieran dar una respuesta en la lectura de la caja fuerte ellas nos dicen que no cuentan con esa tecnología... Procedimos a mostrarles un video de evidencia donde pudieron observar que su equipo fallaban al no bloquear la caja cuando se ingresaban los dígitos (Importante mencionar que dicho video se les fue facilitado) cuando esto sucedió la señorita Giulia nos comento lo siguiente ”vamos a contactara nuestra aseguradora para que les hagan la devolución de su dinero” y acto seguido fueron ambas a corroborar la falla del equipo en persona. Hemos sido muy pacientes ya que el tiempo transcurrido ha sido suficiente para que la aseguradora nos contacte y desafortunadamente no ha sido así por eso procedemos a este medio para recibir la atención necesaria, incluso la gerente de guest experience Elisa Zamurano nos ha contestado por email que la aseguradora nos contactaría ”in the next few days” a lo cual han transcurrido 36 días desde este correo sin mencionar que dicho suceso sucedio mucho antes y al momento no hemos tenido solución alguna. Tienen nuestros correos y seguimos contando con su compromiso como lo expresaron! TODO LO ANTERUOR OCURRIO EN OCTUBRE 2022 Y SIGO A LA ESPERA TIENEN MI WHATSAPP Y CORREO ELECTRÓNICO

Everything was great. Attention, Restaurant service, check in & check out, staff in general, parking service. Probably will ask for little renew works in the bathroom and full cleaning for the furniture. In general, we think was excellent, complete service. Also this Hotel have shuttle service in more or less 6 different schedules for the customers. For us, the location was perfect do to the Concert we attend near San Siro Stadium.

Very good Budget Hotel. All the staff are lovely. The rooms are dated but solid with loads of extras like a hair dryier, kettle etc, The Breakfast options and room are good. The area is not central to Milan but your not paying Milan central prices. so bare this in mind when reading negative reviews. Also 10 min walk away is a lovely shopping centre, that has food hall that has options to suit all tastes and much cheaper then Milan central prices. Ideal for a few days exploring the area.

Generally All was great, first room was abit old and air condition was not cold. However the staff, assisted us well and we changed to another newer room. From what I heard they are upgrading the rooms.

Our short stay was comfortable and good overall. We had a room close to the entrance and the kitchen so it was a bit noisy very early in the morning. Other than that the staff was helpful and polite, the room was comfy and clean. The hotel is right across the stadium if you are interested. The public transport is not far away but the walk to and from the metro station was a bit frightening late at night in the dark as the area is very quiet because of the stadium. Still, we enjoyed our stay.

It was very cost-effective when I first booked it. The price was getting higher and higher every time, and I could n’t afford it anymore ... Although the hotel is a bit older and the facilities are relatively old, it is still clean. Location is right for me, very close to where I am going
