Milan Bicocca Hotels

It was clean and quite spacious, which was nice. There was plenty of room even with the carrier unfolded, so we were able to stretch out comfortably. They also clean the rooms. Don't expect amenities. The building is next to the university, and the lower floors are student dormitories. As a result, the students at the bar on the first floor are a bit noisy every night. If you stay in your room it's not a problem at all. There's also a supermarket nearby, so it's easy to buy water, etc., but it's about a 30-minute bus ride from the center of Milan. I'd like to use this again when staying with multiple people!

Self-check-in is very simple, and the hotel is easy to find. It also has a striking red door, and when you make your reservation, they send you a very useful access video. It's spacious and well-maintained. It has a kitchen, a common room, and good coffee and soft drink machines, all for €0.50. We stayed for three days and it was very good. The only drawbacks are: the pillow and bed were a bit hard; the music at 10 a.m. while the rooms were being cleaned; and the location relative to the center of Milan, which is offset by the price of the hotel and good bus connections with extensive schedules (the 42 to Milano Centrale and the 51 to connect to the metro to the Duomo, very good and frequent. However, check schedules in advance if you take the bus at 6-7 a.m., as they run less frequently). Overall, recommended.

The room was actually two connecting rooms, so there were two large beds and two bathrooms. The location was pretty good, with a metro station right outside, and direct access to Milan Cathedral, which was quite convenient. However, the facilities and the surrounding area had a rural feel. There was a restaurant downstairs, and the wait staff were very nice, but the price was not cheap. We had breakfast, which was quite generous. There were no disposable slippers, toothpaste, or other utensils, but this is common in Italy. There was a shower cap, which was missing from the hotel we stayed at later.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect—close to public transport and within walking distance of many attractions and great restaurants. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and well cared for. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Milan.
