I stayed one night at Hotel Montecarlo in Milan. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive — they even kindly offered to keep the room key for me since it was a bit heavy, which was a nice gesture.
The room was reasonably clean, and the location was not bad.
However, I was quite disappointed that although I had booked a “breakfast included” rate, I was told at the hotel that breakfast was not included and was not allowed to have it. I had confirmed this detail in advance, so it was frustrating, especially as it affected the start of my day during the trip.
Because the staff was otherwise so kind, I believe that if this issue is addressed, the hotel would offer a much more reliable and satisfying stay.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the metro station loreto. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and ready to help. Excellent breakfast. Cool balcony with a view either to the street or to the wonderful garden. Definitely recommend.

In an old house, 20 minutes walk from Milano Centrale. You can also walk to the Duomo in about 40 minutes. The room was comfortable for one (with a balcony, 2nd floor) - a beautiful view from the window. Freshly renovated, new plumbing. There is a kettle, a cup, a mini-fridge. You need an adapter for the sockets. The facade of the house is decorated with graffiti, but don't let that scare you. The area is quiet. On via Benedetto Spinoza, the Carrfour supermarket accepts UnionPay cards. We were able to pay the city tax with such a card at the hotel too.

The hotel is located near the Loreto metro station, there was a fairly good breakfast for Italy, including an omelet (could have been better), sausages, cold cuts, fruit, pastries. I liked the taste of coffee. The room is small, the hair dryer is good, but I did not have slippers (as stated in previous reviews) or a toothbrush. The advantages include good soundproofing of the room and warmth in the room in early March, when I was freezing in other hotels at this time, good Wi-Fi and a hair dryer.
