Casa Milano- Apartments and Rooms

The location was perfect, and the photos that were used to showcase the accommodation made it seem like a great place for our stay. It was literally a couple of blocks from the Duomo cathedral and easily accessible to get into central Milan. Getting into the apartment was tricky if you don't have a phone/internet signal - there was nobody on the door (it was advertised as having front desk service), but once through the hurdles it was easy to unlock the door using the link, and access the property using the keypad system. Once we got into the room it was clear this was not the "showcase" room from the booking page - it was tiny and due to the weather, baking hot. There was no air conditioning, the floorboard were loose and kept falling out, and some of the plugs were either broken or with power leads dangling which is pretty dangerous. As there was nobody at the front desk we weren't able to pay the tax on arrival, however they got their money by entering our room while we were still in it, and knocking on the internal door. Not a great way to start our day! The final part which wasn't helped by the hot weather was that the cigarette smoke from the courtyard came straight into the room, as we had to leave the windows and doors open due to having no air conditioning. So our clothes all stank by the time we left. The place itself has so much potential, and with some TLC the courtyard could be made so much more inviting, but has been left in disrepair and looks and feels unloved. If you only care about location then this is perfect, but if you value room comfort and having basic services then look elsewhere.

It was horrendous the customer service is bad you can see the dirt hanging off the windows the picture shown on the site is totally wrong nothing compared to reality . I got bitten my insects and immediately admitted my self to the GP. I had to leave the hotel that day I didn’t stay I ended up spending more money in Italy Milan. They take service tax on the spot €27/30euros. Which they didn’t mention. They don’t show you around like it’s dirty please see the pictures attached. Awfaul never again! 09/07/2024 I was travelling with my toddler and mum everyone was horrible NO WIFI, lift is old and broken, NO AC it’s hazard not child friendly . It looked so wrong like they’d traffic people we had to leave ASAP. When they know they are wrong they start saying don’t understand English never again Italy Milan is disgraceful and DISGUSTING OVER RATED.
