Amazing 5 nights stay in Milaidhoo! We will miss all the people we met, our great overwater villa and delicious meal we had. My wife and I stayed at Milaidhoo for 5 nights. We’ve been coming to Maldives for the last 3 years. We stayed at 4 other resort such as St. Regis, Park Hyatt, Alila and Sheraton. Milaidhoo will be one of the most memorable place we stayed at because of the amazing staff that we’ve met during our stay. We felt that we were treated as family not just as a guest. They know your preference from dining to your schedule and activities. Our highlight will be our breakfast and dinner experience in Ocean restaurant. We are greeted by our first name by everyone we engage with. Shippe and Saaha both went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience during breakfast and dinner will be amazing every single day. Shippe always provides a seat pillow for my wife’s lower back to make it more comfortable for her. He took amazing photos of us as we request it throughout our stay. The pictures came out very nice. Don’t hesitate to ask him for pictures during your visit. Additionally, Shippe always surprise us with a meal starter and deserts. These are not extra charge on our bill. He just wants us to try different food in and out the menu. He will talk to the Chef to create something special for us. He knows our food restrictions very well. Saaha on the other hand always made sure our meal experience exceeds our expectations. He arrange a special table set up on our last dinner. It was very romantic. Set up was free of charge! If you have a table preference don’t hesitate to let him know. He even gave us a tour of the wine cellar after one of our breakfasts. It was a great experience. Kokko and Yoonus are very attentive. Just watching them work humbles me. Your glass will always be filled and your table will always be cleaned up. We even ask to move tables once the weather cleared up and both didn’t even hesitate to facilitate. Our engagement with Thiru, Saika, Alfie always feels natural. Thiru knows our room number and our names as soon as we arrive at the Ocean restaurant. She is very professional in her job. She is a great staff member. Food was amazing! Chef LJ goes around the table to engage with each guest every meal to ensure satisfaction is exceeded. One morning he even brought us a plate of fresh mangoes and mangosteen. Don’t hesitate to request or ask him for any food that you want during your stay. He is a very engage leader of the food and beverage team. Our butler, Abdulla, was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. He assisted us with our needs and preferences throughout our stay. He manage our spa services and advise us the best snorkeling area. We ask for a professional photographer for our baby announcements photo but due to weather he advise that we should hold off to ensure we are satisfied. At the end, we have our perfect baby picture announcement that is personally taken by Shippe and Abdulla. We

Just a 30-minute seaplane ride from Male Airport, this island paradise is both accessible and exclusive. From the moment we arrived, the personalized attention of Mr. Abdulla, our Island Host, made our stay truly unforgettable. His dedication to ensuring every detail was perfect added a unique and memorable touch. Our days were filled with endless beach relaxation and thrilling snorkeling adventures that made time fly by. The underwater world was absolutely breathtaking—swimming alongside blacktip sharks, dolphins, turtles, stingrays, and vibrant tropical fish was an unforgettable highlight. As the day drew to a close, we were treated to spectacular sunsets, whether enjoyed from the bar or the comfort of our room. The evenings were equally delightful, with mouthwatering dining experiences that perfectly capped each day. This idyllic escape far exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Maldives including Waldorf Astoria, St Regis, Park Hyatt, and Alila. Milaidhoo ranks near or at the top across these hotel experiences. One of the things that really stood out was that they are much smaller and have a more intimate vibe. While other hotels have lots of families and screaming kids during festive season, Milaidhoo was so relaxed and quiet because of its adults-only policy. This made such a big difference. The other thing that stood out was that it’s owned and staffed by locals without compromising on quality. Because the staff are locals, we felt we learned a lot more about Maldives than on past trips - they could tell us what kind of fish we just saw, how the winds are changing this time of year, info about maldivian cuisine, and lots of other details that international staff wouldn’t know. Last, the villas are very nice - generously sized and great style. Overall a great experience!
