The room smelled like dirty gym socks and the shower had black hairs on the wall from previous guests. But the beds were comfortable and the front desk clerk was very polite. She was out of king size bed rooms, so she upgraded us to 2 queens at no extra charge.

The room is OK although the fridge is barely cool and the bathroom light flickers but my standards are low for cheap hotels. The reason for this one-star review is that I've never encountered ruder people working in the service sector. The woman at the front desk told my (elderly female) friend she would have to go to a gas station to use the bathroom while we were waiting to check in even though they have a bathroom right around the corner from the lobby. UPDATE: When I complained to the manager in the morning after our first night, his response was "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN F-ING LEAVE. YOU'LL NEVER BE SATISFIED." And he didn't say "F". He used the F word to a customer!!! So we are going to leave at his invitation and get a refund. Worst hotel experience ever! DON'T STAY HERE!

The staff is very disrespectful and very rude. This Hotel is completely dirty. Towels had foot marks and dirt stains on them. Paper cups Provided were dirty. TV, fridge don’t work and they don’t fix it. Housekeeping refuses to give you new towels. They did not release my deposit of $150.00 after 5 days and I called the hotel and the person hung up on me.

The staff is very disrespectful and rude. Hotel is completely dirty. Towels had foot marks and dirt stains on them. Paper cups Provided were dirty. TV, fridge don’t work and they don’t fix it. Housekeeping refuses to give you new towels. Gina the manager is probably the rudest person I have ever interacted with. Her assistant will verbally abuse you and threaten you and Gina will walk away without answering your questions. Hot breakfast is advertised, there is no breakfast. Hotel is non smoking but smells like cigarettes. Burn marks on sheets and furniture. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. The worst place to stay. This hotel should be reviewed and the management needs to be changed. They management has no respect for their customers. DONT STAY HERE Would give 0 stars if possible and 0 is being generous

Good location for skiers. Can walk to bus that takes you to Brighton/solitude. Check out 2 row brewery when you stay. Walking distance to many restaurants. I would stay again for the price and location. You could take trax from airport to hotel and not need to get a car for trip to salt lake.

Absolute garbage! Homeless and very shady people walking around in parking lot, manager is extremely hard to understand, when I called and asked where they were located you couldn’t hear because of Bollywood/Indian music being played too loud. I can say the rooms were clean but thats the only positive review, beds were terrible, sounded like you were sleeping on metal cooking pans because of all the metal springs…very poorly run

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL I always consider the following when choosing a motel: price, senior discount, free cancellation, customer reviews and breakfast. The fact that the Midvale Quality Inn advertised a breakfast was included in the price of a room was a factor in my wife and I choosing to stay there on September 23, 2023. When we checked in, they failed to inform us that the breakfasts that they advertised as included in the price of the room would not be furnished with our room. Next morning, when we went to the dinning room to get the breakfast we had paid for, there was a sign on the door that said no breakfasts would be served due to staff shortage. When I went to check out and demand a partial refund, there was no one at the front desk. The owners of the Quality Inn, 7251 South 300 West, Midvale, UT are practicing theft by deception. They are advertising a breakfast for each occupant of a room is included in the price they are charging for each room. Then, they are failing to furnish the advertised breakfasts. This results in causing their customers to have to spend an average of $12.50 each for breakfast at a restaurant. If they sell 50 double rooms and 50 single rooms each day, That would be 150 advertised breakfasts per day they are failing to furnish. At $12.50 each, that would amount to $56,250 per month. The desk clerk told me they have not served breakfasts for 3 years, but they are still advertising that they have breakfasts. $56,250 times 36 months is over 2 Million Dollars. That is not petty larceny. That is grand theft.

Absolutely Horrible Place! I stay at many many hotels for work but this is the worst!! From the minute we arrived until the minute we left early this was a absolute nightmare. I have never experienced a hotel with such unprofessionalism incredibly dishonest thieving management. I actually went back to this hotel just to see if the same scan would be ran again and it absolutely was they take cash deposits at the door it Hass to be cash and that's because they completely have every intention of keeping your money no matter what happens. We stayed the first night and it was dirty smelled horrible the place is not taken care of at all. Every time we tried to discuss anything with the management he ignored us was incredibly rude. It was very late so we ended up staying because we were so tired. There was drug use everywhere. The next morning when we checked out he made some bogus claim that we smoked in the room which we don't even smoke and the whole place smells like a cigarette. And kept my $150 as we were trying to fight this because there's no reason why he should've kept our deposit we left the room cleaner than when we found it. I noticed he did the same thing with another couples 100 deposit. Why is he charging cash deposits of different amounts?. He is doing this to most if not all people. Most likely pocketing the cash. We asked for a refund for the following night & he said no & threatened to call the cops. Unbelievable he was swearing at us & won't even respond to our questions. I seen this going on with multiple people while we were there so I notified the authorities who said they're well aware of the situation and criminal charges need to be brought on them. I'm going to be contacting corporate because there is no way they would continue to let this hotel run like this if they knew this was happening. Whatever happened to hospitality today anyone even know the definition of this word? Entire reason a hotel should be functioning is to make money but in a honest way and be accommodating to the guests making them comfortable and happy they're not trying to do this at all they act like we should feel lucky to be there. Absolutely do not stay at this hotel this will be something you see on the news soon. The Indian guy at the counter is a con artist & should be in jail.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The floor was tile and had a large area that was sticky and obviously not mopped and cleaned. The employees stood outside smoking and left butts everywhere. There were broken bottles in the parking lot. I told the person on duty about it and he said he would notify the maintenance man. I had to remove it myself three hours later to back out of the lot. It was difficult to relax in a room that wasn’t clean. I will not be staying there again.
