The warm welcome with traditional Ginger beer wss truly delightful.the beer itself was rich and full of flavour. The service at barn felt very personalized with Jan,Maria,Lesitha,Rauna and Ralph creating an atmosphere that made us feel like we are dinning at home ,the children were given special attention and the staff had the patience The horseriding experience with Fhil and Albert was very informative and we learnt a lot about horses the kids were very happy The massage experience with lulu and li was highly professional And of course I would like to highlight Janet the all-rounder worked her magic adding a special touch to every moment she truly made everything feel extra special,overall it felt like home away from home ,the hospitality at midgard was unforgettable, thank you the entire team

If I could give Midgard 10 stars I would! I headed there for a few days before starting a group tour in Windhoek. The accommodation was very comfortable, the grounds pleasant and the food good. I did two game drives (morning and evening) which I enjoyed and had an excellent back massage. The Midgard staff were all friendly and helpful. It was when things went wrong that I experienced the full extent of their kindness. I had a bad fall which left me with concussion and severe bruising. I have no memory of the accident itself, but know that they arranged a transfer to a hospital in Windhoek, and for a couple of other guests who were both doctors to accompany me. They also contacted my insurance company and the car rental company who were due to collect me. And a couple of days later carefully packed my belongings so that they could be collected. All in all the kindness and efficiency of the Midgard staff made a horrible experience much easier than it might otherwise have been. I will always be grateful.

I loved the bunk bed in the family rooms and the nature outside to give the kids lots of space to run around. Wild warthogs were running around on the grass and beautiful pools outside were a view to see (sadly no swimming for me in the winter). The food for both breakfast and dinner was amazing! I had not anticipated the support from the lodge for namibian clients, and was surprised at the effort made to provide for discounts, a baby cot and a complimentary dinner. I wish the road from Kapps farm would be better, since it is double the kilometer to first drive to Okahandja. I hope to see Midgard again in the future.

The stay was awesome , room very tidy and food very good. Beautiful sight in the mornings and very friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

Rauna decorated a table especially for our anniversary celebration. They even spoiled us with desert on the house and a cheerfull celebration song was sang. Food was delicious. Friendly staff from reception till restaurant and Spa. Thank you.

What a beautiful place Midgard is! Serene surroundings, excellent food, superb service (Kapere and Jan) has been the absolute best - friendly and always smiling. Made our stay remarkable. The suite we were in (corner left of the property as you enter) is the best spot to stay. You catch the morning and sunset rise - breathtaking. The game drive - Nicholas what a stella guy! Friendly and so knowledgeable. The amenities are top notch and there are so many child friendly activities to keep the kids busy. I must add a thought - that a warm pool would be ideal at night.

Where to start.. Our entire experience was nothing short of amazing. From a personalized welcome note upon arrival, to a different bouquet of flowers each morning for breakfast. The staff’s attention to detail was superb and our waiter Kapere saw to our every need. Everyone over were super friendly and Nicklaus our ranger for the game drive made our day out even more memorable with his vast knowledge of everything in the reserve. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend anyone looking to getaway from the busy city life to give Midgard a visit. We’re sad to leave but definitely will be back in the future.
