Check in was delayed 1.25 hours. Asked for an alarm clock 3 times over an hour. I finally got one from the front desk and the worker cussed me out. Called customer service and their only advice was to move to a different hotel. I have never had a worse experience at a hotel. I travel monthly and have never experienced this level of terrible service.

DO NOT BOOK SHUTTLE OR PARKING RESERVATIONS WITH CROWNE PLAZA! I had a terrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone — especially families with young children. Upon arrival, I was directed to park further down where a shuttle would supposedly pick us up. After waiting 20 minutes, the shuttle finally arrived, only for the driver to go inside and relax with no sense of urgency. I had to walk up to the hotel to ask him directly what was going on. Before we left on our trip, I asked the driver specifically if someone would be there to pick us up when we returned at 2:00 AM. He assured me that they would — just to call when we landed. He lied. We landed and called multiple times. No answer. Not from the shuttle line, not from the front desk. I was stuck with my 1-year-old and 6-year-old in the middle of the night. Another passenger said he’d been waiting for over an hour and was calling a taxi. We ended up getting an Uber back to our car — only to see a shuttle dropping someone off! The driver explained the original guy had called in sick, and she was filling in. No one notified us, no back-up plan, and absolutely no customer service. We didn’t get home until 4:00 AM. To make matters worse, no one can find my reservation number, and after talking to multiple people, no one has called me back. I’m left sleep-deprived, disappointed, and with zero accountability from Crowne Plaza.

Was in Cleveland to bowl in a blind bowling tournament. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean. The front desk staff wasn't the most friendly folks I have ever dealt with. The weren't rude or hateful, just not overly friendly or helpful. I had my bags held the last day, so I didn't have to drag them to the bowling alley. They never put them in the safe room. When they couldn't locate them, I was asked 100 questions. They then found them behind the front desk. 2 of the 3 elevators were broken. Although the breakfast was expensive, the lady who helped me get my food was very pleasant. She got my food for me and helped me get seated. Not a bad place to stay. They just need to work on some things.

Big Michael who drove us to the plaza was AMAZING!! He even went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He was cheerful and super helpful! The hotel is nice and even has a great restaurant to eat at. It’s at a great location in Cleveland easy access to food and whatever you like.

I needed a comfortable hotel to catch-up on some sleep after a red-eye and this place fit the bill. The airport shuttle driver was fantastic - he picked me up at the airport shortly after I arrived and was very nice. The front desk was professional. The lobby doesn’t look great and could use some updating and refreshing. Also, two of the three elevators were out of service and the stairwell was not well-lit in one area. But my room was clean and quiet with very good black-out drapes and a comfortable bed, and I slept well. I didn’t go to the restaurant or the pool, but I went to a Chipotle in walking distance for a late lunch, and there were many other places in walking distance (IHOP, Starbucks, Panera, etc.). This was good for what I was looking for.

Good: food in restaurant, for dinner, but breakfast buffet disappointing, not warm. Pool and hot tub out of service. Only one of 3 elevators in service. Had to make 3 trips to front desk to get room keys programmed. Non-working coffee machine, remote for TV that had very limited stations. Had our convention not been here we would have moved, and ended up leaving a day early. Most staff friendly and helpful.
