It doesn't seem far on the map, but it sounds far if you don't drive. We arrived at midnight and were in the RV base. It's good that you don't need a room card and you get a generated password. The room is not big, basically like this in Europe, but the breakfast is very ordinary and convenient. I'm used to eating simple meals occasionally and I'm not used to it. The hotel itself is fine and the airport transfer is good.

Great as a transit hotel. Unfortunately, the advance booking was not assigned correctly. The parking is extremely overpriced.

Ik vind het ontbijt zeer tegenvallen en slordig maar het uitzicht is wel mooi en het is handig dat het zo dicht bij de zee is. De kamers zijn wel heel erg klein en de bedden zitten wel dicht bij elkaar maar voor de rest is het wel goed..............

Beste, hadden Vrijdag 19-07-2024 een kamer gereserveerd , aangekomen aan zee ,in het hotel waren al de kamers bezet.Dit kan toch niet.Wij hadden nochtans een e-mail terug gekregen van IBIS van de reservering en ook dat de betaling in orde was???

Fortunately we were able to open the window because the air conditioning is very noisy even at the lowest speed. Otherwise I slept well and that’s already good. There is a very convenient but paid parking lot. We are 10 minutes walk from the sea and a tram stop which goes to Ostend.

Arrived a 1am. Price advertised was considerably lower than the price we actually paid. When questioned, was told that’s the price, do you want it or not? We were too tired to argue, at that point so took it! We left early in the morning so didn’t take breakfast- which was extra, as was the parking. We’ve stayed in several Ibis hotels and thankfully they have always been good. This styles itself budget- I wouldn’t call £150, without breakfast, budget! We won’t be back! 😠

We thought it was anything but a budget-friendly hotel, misleading photos on the website, misleading information on the website: the affordable additional booking of -25% turned out to be a lie, 15 euros parking per day (unattended) instead of 7 euros, a very austere breakfast, a double bed with one side against the wall, the lack of a refrigerator, only 1 chair. A single plus: the friendliness of the staff
