Viva Miches by Wyndham, a Trademark All Inclusive Resort

We as a family had fun and enjoyed the amenities including the catamaran and archery. The shows and activities are really great and the beach is amazing but here is a list of a few things the resort needs to work on: 1. There is no sound proofing in the rooms, we could hear doors banging and chairs scraping and even conversation of people in the lobby. 2. Communication was another serious issue since most of the staff can speak only Spanish 3. Staff need proper training when it comes to hospitality. Service was very inconsistent, you will either get staff who is very attentive or staff who seems to be absolutely unconcerned 4.The sales team people in red t shirt chasing guests every morning and evening doesn’t give a very good impression about the resort and at the same time we personally feel uncomfortable being stopped every now then. The resort is great for the size and proximity to the beach but these issues need to be addressed especially since it is still new.

Limited Food Supply at all restaurants and breakfast (El Lago). Limited to none alcohol at the only 2 bars. Pool area bar is useless . Swim Up bar never was in service . Swim Bar staff slow and could not care as they under comments in own language .

Long wait for food, long wait to check in because the staff doesn’t knowledge, you can tell there is no training. Guest service is useless, jean carlos and darleiny have no clue about guest service. Jean Carlos was very rude, when we asked him to talk to the manager he said that the manager is busy. After We waited one hour for Darleiny to give access to someone we were going to meet at the lobby. She kept asking us to wait because the security manager is busy. I had stopped Paolo at the lobby and asked for help and he called security who was busy. He answered and gave us access. When you want to make an a la carte reservation all booked. For 5 nights they only allow you 2 You can barely find one the last night. At the buffet, there is no variety. Only one person for the omelette. The waiters take long to set up the table to bring a spoon to bring water. They brought a dirty cup for the coffee. There is a huge staff training issue in this hotel. Entertainement was good and housekeeping. Beach is nice.

It's 9:13 local time. I decided to leave the review ahead of checking out since housekeeping just opened my room door with their keys while I was undressing! It's no where near check out time! This is the worst resort I've visited. The staff is rude. During check in, I forgot to ask a question and Jennifer (front desk area), stated "No, I'm busy!" The bellhop was extremely rude on June 19th/6pm taking luggage to the room. I wear a knee brace. He sighed and continuously looked back at me as if he was agitated I walked a bit slower. Generally, food isn't as important when I'm traveling. However, everyone in my family struggled to find decent food so we ate a ton of fruit. They did not like the food at all. We were told to make reservations for other restaurants on the property, but the reservations were filled upon arrival day 1. Staff appeared to assist and help those they chose to. This is the 3rd resort I've visited this summer, the absolute worst and calling this even a 3 star resort is a stretch! Son las 9:13 hora local. Decidí dejar la reseña antes de hacer el check-out ya que el personal de limpieza acaba de abrir la puerta de mi habitación con su llave mientras me estaba desvistiendo. ¡Aún no es hora de check-out! Este es el peor resort que he visitado. El personal es grosero. Durante el check-in, olvidé hacer una pregunta y Jennifer (del área de recepción) me dijo: "¡No, estoy ocupada!" El botones fue extremadamente grosero el 19 de junio a las 6 p.m. cuando nos llevaba el equipaje a la habitación. Yo uso una rodillera. Él suspiró y me miraba continuamente como si estuviera molesto de que caminara más lento.
