Note: There is a QR code in the photos that takes you to the local resort site where you can look at current information. Overall I would currently give this a 4+ star rating. However, I do believe in a year it will be up to a 5 star. It was only 19 days operational when we arrived, thus I do believe some grace should be given. Additionally they were still hiring staff and only operating a partial capacity. I would like to recognize these staff members: 29, Superman, Aquaman, and Karen (Kids Camp) Reception: Amazing. Great service and it was quick. They used a golf cart and hauled us off to our room and we were acknowledged as Diamond Members and received an upgrade. The reception drink was the best one we had. Room: The room was a double queen. It was a great room with a view. The beds were very comfortable. The showers were also very nice with a double vanity sink. The housekeeping was hit and missed. On multiple occasions I had to ask for towels. It was never the same towels, nor did we get enough. They would pick up but not replace. As for the mini bar and coffee service. This was not replaced well. Sometimes it was other times it was not. The standard with the coffee was also hit or miss. At points I only had decaff. Overall, the rooms were great and when the consistency improves it would be an amazing stay with a view. Staff: All the staff were amazing and helpful, full of energy and made you feel at home an welcome. Even when there was an issue, they wanted to resolve it. The staff I mentioned above went above and beyond all the time. They were always working hard and bringing life to the party. Bars/Food: The food was great! I do not think we had a bad meal. There was an interesting take on some of the specialty restaurants than what we may have thought but we still enjoyed the food. Often only a portion of the menu was available. Additionally, not all the restaurants were open all the time, so you had to plan. The hours of operation were convenient for my family. The Bar service was something that needs substantial improvement. Many of the drinks on the menu bar tenders could not make or would tell you they are at a different bar but were on their specific menu. Further, not one drink was the same. Standard classics like mojito or Mai Tai which were advertised could not be made. Overall, unless you just wanted booze in a soda, beer or wine, you were not going to get what you asked for. This was a complaint amongst everyone I talked to. I even had a bartender ask how a drink was made. Good on them for asking but at a resort they would not think that would have occurred. Entertainment: The entertainment was fantastic. From the crafts that they had, to tastings, to the evening entertainment. The sports bar had foosball and air hockey. Overall, we would choose to stay here again, recognizing that numerous enhancements are still in progress. Given that the resort has been operational for less than six months, it is already demonstrating considerable promise. The staff provided exceptional service—Juan Carlos was particularly helpful, Annie was very welcoming, and all team members encountered throughout the property were friendly and approachable. Resort: The main pool features a swim-up bar, and the landscaping across the grounds is beautifully maintained. Common areas are kept immaculately clean. However, several facilities remain incomplete, and construction activities continue, resulting in periodic noise disturbances. Notably, the front desk was unattended at night, which presented challenges during a minor emergency; multiple calls were required before staff responded. Additionally, the spa was not yet open. Despite being located nearly 90 minutes from the airport, the journey is justified by the resort’s amenities, although nearby towns offer limited attractions. Rooms: Our Club Azur suite in Building 4 exceeded expectations in size, with an expansive lanai providing additional comfort. The shower water temperature was consistently only moderately warm, despite sinks and tubs offering hotter water. As Building 4 is centrally located near restaurants, the pool, and entertainment venues, there is increased ambient noise. Guests seeking a quieter environment may prefer accommodations in lower-numbered buildings. Dining: Food presentation met high standards, while flavor quality was generally average. The standout dining experience was at Serra, a discreet sports bar on site offering an appealing menu, excellent cuisine, and outstanding service without the need for reservations. Some minor inconveniences included difficulty obtaining basic condiments and items such as ketchup, salt, pepper, straws, and drink coasters. Simple menu options, including hot dogs, were unavailable. All menus are accessed via QR codes exclusively; guests without mobile devices will find no paper alternatives are offered. Beach: The beachfront is minimal, with limited access points to the water and no classic sandy beach, though future improvements are planned in this area. No motorized watercraft are currently available—a notable limitation, especially given the calm conditions of the ocean inlet, which would be ideal for activities such as jet skiing.

The location is about 1.5 hours from an airport. We had W2M pick us up from the airport to the resort and on the return trip to the airport. We elected this route as it was a private car. We had visited the island prior and the cabs didn't always have A/C . The ride W2M was pleasant, but be prepared to pay approximately $145 one way. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm. We waited approximately 15 minutes to get checked in and get assigned a room. We are not Diamond nor paid for Club azure. We did not have a bad experience during check out. Ransel got our bags and took us to our room during our check in process. Ransel was pleasant from day one and remembered our name. Every interaction with him and our 8 old son and/or us was great. Yes, we were disappointed to learn that the kids club was not opened when we arrived. However, it opened up on Tuesday. We did not find out until Paola informed us. We also were disappointed to learn the spa was not available. We had been looking forward to the spa for months. We met 1 of therapist and was told that the spa massages were in a designated room. We had visited Melia last year and my son enjoyed a facial and massage package. The Zemi therapist said they could do kids as long as the parent was in the room. We booked a couples massage and a separate massage for our son. The morning of the appointments we got a call 1 hour before our appointments that our son could not get the massage. No kids services and they suggested that our kids sit in the massage room during our massages. Not going to happen...very disappointed on this area. My son visited the kids club 2 days of the 7 day stay. He had fun even though they only had 2-4 kids at time. Karen did a good job keeping them safe and engaged at the Coki Cove. The dinner reservation system did not work. However, Paola was daily at the desk from 12-5 making dinner reservations. She was always welcoming and helpful. She asked for opinions on the food no matter it was good or bad. She genuinely wanted to know how to improve the food experience. We had a room with a plunge pool. Our room was smaller than what I expected. To be honest, I was comparing it to Melia which we had a walkout pool and it was massive suite. However, it (Melia) was also outdated compared to Zemi. We didn't experience any issues with our room or bathroom as others mentioned in their reviews. I would say that our plunge pool did not have pool lights like their others in our casa 3. We happened to go to Viva's property. The plunge pools at Zemi are significantly bigger than Viva's. I think what salvaged our vacation was Superman (Yueri) and Osvaldo29 (Osvaldo). These gentlemen were in charge of hosting activities. Their energy and personalities made up for some of the shorting comings of the resort. They engaged with all the kids and parents especially when there was no kids club. They made everyone feel welcome. Their activities and performances have been the best that

The vacation was amazing and I was blown away once i arrived at the resort. The people there are very good at their job and good at making sure your comfortable and in good care. This one young lady Karen who took care of the kids usually like play with them and spend time with them. She would always play and hangout with my sister like do crafts and activities and make things and made sure my sister was happy! My sister would always look for Karen and when she did find her she would give her a big hug and go off to do things with her. So yeah Karen did a very good job with talking with my sister and just making sure she was happy!

First of all I should mention that my original trip that I had booked about 6 months in advance was for the Hilton La Romana, about two weeks before our trip 06/30/2025 - 07/05/2025 I opened my Hilton app to use my digital key at another hotel for work and noticed that all of my points i had used for the stay had been returned and my reservation was gone. No email, no phone call, or anything. After calling that evening, I discovered that Hilton sold that property and two others without notice to Hyatt and just dumped everyone’s reservations. At the recommendation of the person on the phone, I rebooked my trip at this resort as it was the only remaining Hilton all-inclusive property in the country, and the airline tickets I had purchased were non-refundable. The Zemi Miches is about an hour and forty minutes from the airport in Punta Cana, which is too far from the vacation scene to have access to any activities outside the resort. The location is very remote, and as I found out once I was there, it is not so much at a beach as on an inlet of the ocean where trees have been pushed down and sand hauled in to create water access. There are no waves whatsoever and the sand is not in condition to be walked on without shoes of some sort. Upon checking in we were given an “upgraded room” with a private pool and supposedly a beach view. I was given the upgrade because the room type that I had booked much like 80% of the resort has not been completed, and by the looks of things, there will be construction going on for at least another year. Most amenities are unavailable because they are incomplete and some have not even been started yet. I was looking forward to having a couples massage and playing some pickleball more than anything but the the exterior of the spa has not even been finished, and it doesn’t look like any tennis or pickleball courts have been staked off for construction. We were taken to our room and given a tour where we discovered that the the pool in our room and al of the others with private pools had not been cleaned since they were filled, ours had several nails and screws in the bottom and enough dirt that using it was not even in the question. After a few minutes, as we started to settle in, my wife went to the restroom to discover that the toilet had not been installed properly and rather than filling the bowl water would just seep out leaving standing water in the floor, combined with the construction dust and overspray I truly believe that the room was furnished but not even cleaned before being assigned to us. I went to the front desk as the phones were not working and asked that someone come and look at the bathroom and requested that the pool be serviced whenever possible. I took a towel to wipe up some of the water in the mean time and was met with the first of what ended up being 7 Huntsman Spiders in the rooms throughout the week. The staff is amazing! Mr Chocolate, Osvaldo, and Rupert were amazing! Rooms were wonderful and beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms well stocked for all inclusive stay. Food was good and the hotel was beautiful!
