Very disappointed with my stay. On my arrival I am asked to pay a deposit higher than the price of my reservation. The deposit has still not been returned to me today, although when we left the gentleman to whom we returned the keys told us that it would be returned to us immediately. I have emailed the hotel and got NO response. I find that outrageous. On top of all that, we found a cockroach in our room. Booking number : ***********

The hotel is a small courtyard with free parking. The front desk clerk is very serious and records everything he needs, including the brand and model number of the registered car. I live in a small courtyard on the first floor, which is relatively quiet. There are many tables and chairs outside. The price is also cheap, and it is relatively close to the urban area. To say we are disappointed would be a understatement. We were going to a concert in the area and needed somewhere quick and cheap to stay. The pictures were cute so we booked it but then our concert cancelled. We tried to move the date of the air bnb and was told no due to the policy, even though there was a category 4 hurricane hitting the state. We went anyways and decided to make the best of it but it only got worse. We walked in to dirty carpet(not the beautiful pictured hardwood), mold in the bathroom, stains in the bedding, dirty walls, etc. Overall the place looked like it was held together by spackle and paint. We left and bought another hotel because we were not comfortable staying at such a dirty place. We requested a refund and was told we’d be contacted by a manger and got no response. If you are debating between picking this place and another, choose the other. If you are about to book this, do yourself a favor and find something better. These reviews cannot be real.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked a prepaid, nonrefundable room for this property for the evening of March 9th with checkout on March 10th. Due to multiple weather events and flight delays, I did not arrive at the property until around 6 am. I called the property much earlier in the evening to let them know, I would not be arriving until very late/early morning and whoever answered the phone said that wasn't a problem. When I went to check-in, the man behind the desk told me that my reservation had been canceled because of my late arrival. I explained that I already called to confirm the later check in would be ok so please give me a room as I'm here now. This man who was not wearing a nametag and refused to tell me his name, had GIVEN AWAY MY PREPAID ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE and told me they were full and there was nothing he could. I told him I prepaid for a room a this property and I wasn't leaving until I either got that room or he made arrangements for me to stay somewhere else. So here I am, exhausted, temporarily homeless (I left on a cruise later that day), and beyond frustrated standing in a hotel lobby at 6 am, he told me he was going to call the police if I didn't leave. I told him to go a right ahead. So, this rude, horrible man, CALLED THE POLICE ON ME. Two officers arrived a little bit later and I explained the situation. They kind of scolded the man asking how he could give away a room that I, a visitor to their city, had already paid for and then had the audacity to call them as if I was a criminal and the one in the wrong. So while this horrible man, who again wouldn't give me his name or the name of the person I might have spoken to when I called earlier did absolutely nothing to help me, the 2 officers started calling around to properties to find me some place to stay. Very long story short, I eventually found someone else to stay and slept a few hours before I had to check out, no thanks to the person who caused the problem in the first place. Even as I'm typing this I still cannot believe this happened to me at all. To be treated so horribly, not even attempt to fix the problem, and then calling the police on ME?! Reliving that morning is making me upset all over again.

Mathias & Louis at the Front Desk were very professional and helpful. We reported a problem with the shower and it was fixed promptly. The room was clean, smelled fresh and quiet for a good night's rest. It was reasonably priced for Miami area and would definitely stay here again.

Very affordable hotel in the Miami area. Staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing.. Looked like they had all the coronavirus precautions in place. Close to everything you need in Miami. Clean rooms.

Don't suggest the location if you don't have a car. High price for absolutely no amenities, no pool, no coffee pot in room, no breakfast. Lobby coffee not available until 8 am but inappropriate tv is playing in lobby at 5 am.

Should how known better by the price… you pay for what you get. Run down, old, in need of repair & looks nothing like pictures. “Non smoking” room smelled so bad of cigarettes we had to buy a candle to help. Gross mildew on shower knob. Mini fridge covered in rust. Cops were at the motel for another resident one day which left us feeling uneasy. Very bare bones. If you just need a place to sleep & are on a budget this is fine, but there are many other options to choose from in Miami… Good location, however as it was easily accessible to airport and beach areas.

We stayed 3 nights. Room 10 is very tiny if you have 2 large suitcases. Good for a short stay. The staff was polite and good. The room was cleaning 1 time during our stay. No breakfast. No hot water, we had some chance to not complaining because of the warm and beautiful forecast. We also had a problem to park our car, it was not secure : someone thrown some fruits salad (very sticky) all around the left side of the car. Fortunately, our car was not vandalized… The same night, a fight between 2 persons around 3-4AM starts… they woke us up… Our upstairs neighbors woke us up a second time around 7-8AM… Conclusion, the area and disctrict is not totally secure. If you can find better, go 4 it.

They are overpriced for the quality of stay. The staff is stuck up and rude and they require a $153 deposit on top of your stay!!! I was not refunded my deposit for checking out 20 minutes late!!! This place is a rip off and complete scam!!! Its seriously a run down piece of junk with no elevators (nothing like the pictures). Good luck staying here.

I was charged a smoking fee for them finding my girlfriend's makeup on the sheets. I've heard from several people that similar things have happened to them. I looked at the reviews and numerous people complained about the same thing. I have the pictures that clearly show it was make up, so why charge a smoking fee. Honestly not worth the stay. No customer service. They lie to take your money. They never informed me about it. I had to call and see what was happening. I will make sure I inform everyone to stay away. Don't waste your time.

I paid approximately $140/night which I felt was reasonable. VERY clean; NICE, HELPFUL Staff. Within walking distance to Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, and a drug store. Uber drivers were able to find the motel without any problem. Felt very safe when coming back to room later in evening.

First the good news. All the staff we encountered were a credit to the business. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. Wi-Fi was good and the room had a fridge. Ample parking. The number 3 bus runs downtown every 30 minutes. There's a communal microwave. Supermarket nearby. So, other points. The free breakfast is just coffee. My biggest issue was with billing. Booked everything online and had confirmation of the full price we were to pay. The desk clerk added $4 per night to that total. Why? Scroll down your confirmation email and it shows an extra $2 a night, but that's "the old version". Apparently the $4 charge is for, "use of the hotel facilities". Eh? The amount maybe small, but that's not on, and leaves a legacy of disappointment with brand. There's a great part of the service where you get clean towels and sheets daily. That only happened on 1 of the 2 nights that it should have. I should ask for a refund, no? Perhaps $4?
