The campground is being worked on. Still needs alot of work. The sites were fair in size. Some sites were larger than others. The shower house needed a lot of work but they were clean. The location was great to get to National Parks in that area. There is plenty to do in that area.

This place does not have ADA compliant restrooms and showers. Construction is currently going on and the work is substandard. They are leaving trip hazards on campsites and not following OSHA safety measures. Today a worker had to be airlifted to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries from the lack of construction site safety measures. Water shuts down regularly. Pool and hot tub work intermittently. Office closes at random times with little notice. The staff is focused more on enforcing random rules (no more than four plants at your campsite, etc…) than focusing on providing hospitality to their guests.

RV site areas are currently under construction to upgrade the sewer and water systems. During construction, there is no cable tv at cabins or rv sites. The contractor is doing unsatisfactory repairs to rv areas causing tripping hazzards and mobility impediments. There are other areas in need of repair such as rest room facilities that have temporarily out of order for many weeks, mini golf has no flags, rugs in severe need of cleaning, and water feature inoperable and dirty. Hopefully there will be better conditions next year. The game room had water damage from ac units causung possible mold in the walls

I was a little worried about a 2-night stay here based on some previous reviews. But this place was awesome! We had a nice large lot for our 25 foot RV. No roosters making noise in the morning, and the only stray cat we saw was incredibly sweet and friendly (and maybe not a stray but just someone's outdoor cat). The employees were very nice though it seems there might be a staffing shortage right now, so they're doing their best, I'm sure! We loved the walking path around the resort, it was so nice for our two dogs. Also fairly easy access to Biscayne National Park, where we spent most of our time doing tours. Everyone we chatted with was very nice, and we noticed a lot of people playing Pickleball when we departed. If we're back in this area again, we'll definitely return.

Even though they are doing major upgrades to the park everything possible is done to ensure the guests have a fun and relaxing time here. The entire staff is extremely friendly and very professional I would like to single out a couple of people that work here, one is Samuel who works in the office and is very competent and gives his best efforts always, it is a pleasure to interact with him. Next would be Sonia again a complete pleasure to talk to and do business with. A real hard worker and a credit to the company. Ive saved the best for last, Casandra. I cannot say enough good things about her. I have stayed here under a few different managers and she is by far the best. Casandra is friendly, courteous and very very professional. Of all the managers that I have seen pass through here, she is the only one who would have a face to face talk with you and explain either what is not allowed or what needs to change. This is all done with the utmost courtesy. Cassandra is a true professional and definitely brings a sense of dignity to the conversation. Casandra does stand out as a shinning star for a company that depends so much upon social interaction and customer satisfaction. A star rating would not do Casandra justice as she is so much higher than the usual 1 to 10 ratings go. Thanks Robert J. McRae

I would like to address the response from Encore that was made on 11/19/24. In your response to the one star review, you state that “your concerns will be addressed with the team to improve our services for future guests.” I would like to know who writes these responses. I would like to know who truly calls the park office and who they speak to. I would like to know if it’s just a call (if one does happen) to tell them they got another bad review. I would like to know if Encore truly realizes how this park is being run. Because here I am writing a review, which I never do, because the very very loud construction started this Thanksgiving holiday morning before 6:30 am! The workers probably wanted to start this early on a holiday so they can finish their work to spend time with their families. But it is not fair to the tenants that are either woken up starting at 3:30 am by roosters or very loud construction, which started before 6:30 am today. Some People that stay here still work full time and need to sleep and get rest. Regardless of a plethora of reasons why loud construction should not start at 6:30 am, will any of these unacceptable situations be corrected? Will any of the other situations happening at this park be corrected? The answer is No. if a phone call from Encore does take place, nothing will happen. Why? Because there are only 2 decent RV parks in Southern Miami. Snow birds love this area, the weather and proximity to the Florida Keys. So, the parks fill up. Revenue is generated and that is all that matters. Encore, open your eyes, if you truly care about your product. Having a nice location is important but there are long time repeat customers that are not happy despite returning because they do have much choice. But maybe that’s all you care about. The money.

It's in a good location if you want to visit Everglades National Park. It has a great laundry with plenty of machines. Services are close by. There was some construction going on so it should be in better shape for the high season. I want to stay longer next time.

We are Thousand Trails members so we have learned to be cautious on our optimism rolling into different parks. Pro: My first impression was that it was beautiful. The trail around the park looks great to walk. The pool looks wonderful. We have only been here about 14 hours so far, and have been less than impressed. Cons: after driving 4 days we needed a shower. With the construction I had to walk to 3 different shower houses to find a usable one. While walking to shower house number 2 I had 3 dogs from a camper off leash run out to the road barking at me (had to yell at them and kick to get them to stop). It says keep pets leashed but I've also seen campers with their cats just hanging out outside as well. Another rule we saw is no dog fence. Some places don't allow so we understand, yet I see people with them out so we asked. The guy at the desk said that they've been calling them and get no response ‍♂️. Different rules for different people i suppose. The chickens are the worst!!!!! Why would I want to be woken up by Rooster at 4am!!!! We are supposed to be here two weeks, but we may be finding other plans for the rest of our stay. Will be updating if anything changes

Cabins are spacious and the screened in porches are the best! I forgot to put that on another review! Good amenities and don't forget that big walking trail around the park! I also loved the nearby small towns and fruit farms and stands. Great restaurants nearby as well.
