Nice place in downtown! Perfect

Initially I gave it 5 stars because of the front desk service (Lia). The facility was nice and the rooms are great. But today I received another bill from the hotel in the amount of $60. I called about the additional expense and the person who answered said it was for parking and the complimentary $23 voucher for the bar/grill. Yes, they say you get a $23 voucher, then charge you for it whether or not you use it . Bye the way : the bar/grill closed at 9pm. When we went to use it, they had just closed (only a couple minutes after 9). The pool was very nice. It closed at 8pm. They actually let us check in early, which I would have happily paid an additional $60 for the convenience and use of the pool. I just did not like "bait and switch" they pulled on me. Also, the person who answered the phone was not very sympathetic to my concern. He commented that I should put it in my review so others would not be surprised. As if he dealt with this issue often (just my opinion). Full disclosure: I booked the hotel on a third party site unknowingly. When I searched for Miami hotels close to Loan Depot field, it must have redirected me to "bookonline". I should have realized it when he asked me for payment to reserve the room. I needed a room and took a chance. That may be where the confusion began. Lessons learned
