Clean, spacious, and in a quieter stretch of South Beach.. If I had to be picky, the bathroom walls can use a bit of touch up. The toilet paper holder and the hand soap dish were not installed in the most convenient spot. The furniture is a bit aged but the mattress was comfortable. The elevator is not air conditioned and is quite slow. The ladies that checked us in and out were super friendly. Just a short walk to the beach with umbrella and chair access included in our resort fee.

We stayed here as a family of three whilst visiting Orlando and had the best time! After a long drive from Orlando we eventually arrived at The local House. As it was Memorial day Miami Beach was quite busy and all of the parking spots had been taken. After driving around the block a couple of times trying to find somewhere to park we decided to give the hotel a call for some much needed help to find somewhere to park. The hotel advised us where to pull over and organised valet parking for $40 dollars a day, we found this a very fair price as we noticed that all of the local car parks were charging the same for only a couple of hours. Our room was available for early check in at no extra cost. The room was beautifully decorated , very bright, spacious and very comfortable beds. Coffee making facilities were provided along with a great sized fridge. Our room had a small balcony with side sea view which was a great touch having some outside space. The rest of the hotel was just beautiful, such a zen feeling in such a vibrant city. Whilst this hotel is only a stones throw away from the famous Oceans drive, the hotel was very calming and quiet. The rooftop pool area was stunning , a great place to enjoy a couple of drinks too. Our room was provided with a complimentary beach bag and enough towels for each of our party along with 2 beach chairs (sun loungers) and a brolly free of charge. We had a really enjoyable day at the beach taking advantage of the complimentary sun chairs, another added bonus is that the beach is only a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel. We didn’t dine at the hotel’s restaurant but did enjoy a couple of drinks sat by the bar one evening before heading out for dinner. The food coming out of the kitchen did look amazing. We all loved our stay at The local house, fantastic value in the heart of Miami Beach. We can’t wait to visit again!
