The standard hotel is the best adult playground! Soo relaxing and amazing every time. If you are looking to disconnect from everyday life and detox from daily stress and live in a bath robe all day spa vibes and no worries this is the place for you!

Fantastic hotel, highly recommend.

The hotel was not what I expected — the room was a very expensive motel room. When we found ear plugs on the tiny bedside “table,” that was the first clue. For drinks and a great sunset vista, the Standard Hotel appeared to be a popular choice. There is also throbbing, loud club music that plays well into the night. The food is pretty expensive and a 20% gratuity is added (regardless of the service). Add $120 per day for parking fees and resort taxes. There was a soaking bathtub outside of the room — that was a nice feature. But it wasn’t really private. Anyone walking by could see you. I could say so much more but I’ll stop here. When I shared my disappointment, more than one staff member said “Our hotel offers a unique experience. We’re not for everyone.” Very true The Spa at The Standard was a very negative experience. Basic features were missing (hot water for tea, wash cloths for bathing, a quiet space for the “relaxation room). Lounge chairs so low to the ground that they were a challenge — acrobatics needed to get down and up. The club appears to be focused on a local clientele. But for visiting clients, the spa left much to be desired. For example, there is a scrub room. We weren’t shown how to use this room, which wasn’t great, Then we learned that if you did not have your own scrub material, we had the option to buy it from the spa. But my spa experience was taken to a very low encounter in my interaction with the spa director (Dennis). He was dismissive and rude. He made a point of letting me know that they “were not going to change their community.” I was a bit taken aback by the poor customer service that he showed.

I’m here for celebrating my 60th birthday. This is my second time at the hotel. I ran into Mr. Fab, he was very helpful and willing to show the spa facilities. I would definitely recommend this hotel and spa. And reach out to Mr. Fab with any specific needs.
