I will start off by saying the property is clean as are the rooms. Cesar and the staff were great for the several days I stayed there. The room I was in, was the worst room in the hotel, a tiny shoebox on the 1st floor, a few steps from the elevator and tile floors that make the sound echo when people are coming in from a night out. The bed in that room needs replacing because one side is sagging because the opposite side has no room for anyone to get in or out of. The built in safe door would not close and banged into it several times. The remote control in my room stopped working and could not be helped until the next day so the tv was on all night and unable to change the volume. Came back from working to relax only to have construction hammering and banging in the room above mine while taking a nap. It was a comedy of errors but that room hardly warranted the price or the “resort” fees, I didn’t feel like I was at a resort by any means. Nice small pool on the roof, no view of anything, but it is set up nice. The restaurant is not fully indoors or air conditioned, it was 105 heat index, last thing anyone wants is to sweat for dinner, that was a bit rough. We had to go for breakfast and dinner elsewhere as a result. Tried to order room service once, the QR code didn’t work so used UberEats to order food. Picture from the lobby into the restaurant where you can see the condensation from the temp and humidity. It’s a nice place, just bad circumstances during my trip, no fault of the staff whatsoever. This place has potential, definitely need to sort out their situation, with humid days being so frequent, they are not alone, many al-fresco only dining options that I find interesting. Hit or miss…
