This hotel has a lot to work on. It is very dated and our room was in fair condition. The first night we were there, we went to bed at 1 AM and there was no blanket or comforter on the bed- just a sheet. We called down and asked them to bring up a blanket and they said we could come down to the front desk to get one, or they would bring one the next morning. The guy at the front desk said it wasn’t his “responsibility” to bring a blanket. I told him to find someone to make it their responsibility and eventually we got the blanket. No housekeeping service for the 5 nights we were there; we had to ask at the front desk for fresh towels and more toilet paper. The pool was just ok; the music was blaring loudly all day- not relaxing at all. The food at the pool was mediocre at best and VERY overpriced. Drinks at the pool were around $22 each. They are very strict about no food, drinks, yetis, etc brought to the pool by guests. There is nowhere in waking distance to grab a casual lunch, so we either had to eat the bad pool food or Uber to a restaurant. One plus was that you got 2 free lounge chairs on the beach per room (had to pay $40 for a third lounge chair at 2 umbrellas). Overall, I would not recommend this hotel; I definitely would never stay there again.
