Last year, I had a good stay here on business, so I booked it again this year. However, the experience was terrible. First, I requested a corner room when booking, but we were given the very corner room. It was quiet, but the included breakfast required walking three blocks to another hotel. It was very basic and the same every day. One day, I had a stomachache all day. Back to the hotel, one night, when we opened the door, we found a ton of flying insects in the room. They looked like ants, but with wings, and they were huge. My friend and I were terrified, so we went to the front desk. They sent someone to catch the insects, but after two attempts, a few kept popping up. We asked if we could change rooms because we were afraid of them. The front desk said no, saying that this kind of bugs is common in Miami and that it was our fault. We had left the window open. My friend and I hadn't even opened the curtains since we stayed in the room, so how could we have opened the window?! We negotiated with them twice but they refused to change rooms. Later, they simply said there were no rooms available. We had to work during the day and were exhausted when we got home at night. We didn't have time to argue with them. We checked and found out that the insects were flying ants, which were not aggressive or poisonous. We endured and stayed. However, after confirming that all the windows were closed tightly, a few of them still flew out for two days. It was very annoying.

This hotel is the worst hotel I stayed in during my stay in the United States. First of all, the service attitude is poor. When I asked for personal wishes, they just said no. Second, the room smells and is not ventilated. The air conditioner is broken at 21° and cannot be adjusted. The toilet window is sealed and the exhaust fan is broken. Third, the price is more expensive than the same level. However, Ctrip customer service has always been very responsible, thumbs up👍

Overall it's okay, it's more like a B&B, and it's a relatively cheap hotel in South Beach. We have all the necessary infrastructure, and don’t expect anything extra. It's a seven or eight-minute walk from the beach, and there are restaurants, dessert shops, and pharmacies along the way. Maybe we come here to avoid the cold in winter. It was packed with people. We arrived at night and couldn't even think of adding an extra blanket. The service attitude is very good, but the level needs to be improved. There were three people in line before check-in, and they waited for half an hour. I am very grateful for the patient explanation to everyone, but there is no explanation about free drinks for half a day, etc. The important information is still not explained clearly. It took several people to find the building where we live. The entire South Beach in Miami is just a resort base, with basically no residents, and the newly built buildings are also hotels. If you are financially well-off, it will be much more comfortable to stay in a high-end hotel. If you don’t have enough financial resources, Sarasota’s B&Bs are relatively cheap and are much closer to the beach. You can go there with just your slippers. The white sand beach is also very beautiful and comfortable. If you go directly to Mexico to enjoy the exotic scenery, you can spend less money and enjoy it more comfortably.

Non prenotate per nessun motivo un soggiorno in questo “albergo”. Non ci era mai capitata in vita nostra un’esperienza simile. Dovrebbe essere un albergo a 4 stelle, il che dovrebbe significare anche un personale serio, ma in realtà il degrado è tale che, presumibilmente gli addetti alle pulizie (di regola gli unici ad avere accesso alla stanza), ci hanno rubato tutti gli acquisti fatti durante la nostra permanenza (maglie e accessori vari dei Miami Heats, acquisti fatti allo store dell’Hard Rock e persino tutti i souvenir come calamite, portachiavi, bicchieri, eccetera), il tutto per il valore all’incirca di 250 dollari. A posteriori, leggendo altre recensioni ho scoperto che non siamo stati un caso isolato ma pare essere una consuetudine di questo posto…chissà, magari presto apriranno un negozietto in cui rivendono tutte le cose rubate agli ospiti della struttura. Prima di questo episodio eravamo disposti a chiudere un occhio sulla totale assenza di manutenzione della stanza e della struttura in generale, il servizio di pulizia delle stanze inesistente, per cui l’unica cosa che veniva fatta era il letto (a saperlo ne avremmo fatto a meno e non ci avrebbero nemmeno derubati, forse😒), lavandino e doccia intasati già al nostro arrivo e tali sono rimasti nonostante la nostra esplicita richiesta di fare qualcosa a riguardo. Al momento del check in abbiamo sorvolato anche l’aggiunta di 250 dollari di tassa di soggiorno che non erano minimamente previsti dato che al momento della prenotazione avevamo chiesto esplicitamente se il prezzo ne fosse compreso o meno, e ci era stato detto che era tutto incluso già nel prezzo. Ricapitolando, tassa di soggiorno pagata per un servizio di pulizia che non esiste (o meglio si occupa di derubare gli ospiti) e per una colazione a un bar a dieci minuti di distanza dalla struttura, sempre la stessa per 8 giorni (patate, uova, “salsicce” e una specie di pane con la stessa identica marmellata ogni giorno) e in cui ogni giorno al nostro arrivo mancavano quando i piatti, quando le posate, quando i bicchieri. La cosa peggiore di questo albergo però è stata la presa in giro alla reception nei giorni a seguire in cui abbiamo fatto presente che ci erano stati rubati i nostri acquisti. Noi abbiamo mostrato tutte le transazioni, siccome abbiamo sempre pagato con la carta, e abbiamo chiesto esplicitamente di venire a controllare che effettivamente tutte le cose pagate fossero sparite, ma ovviamente ci è stato detto di no. L’unica risposta che ci è stata data è che avrebbero chiamato il responsabile per vedere le telecamere, da cui ovviamente ci è stato riferito che non si vedeva niente. Alla nostra richiesta di sapere chi fosse l’addetto alle pulizie della nostra stanza chiaramente nessuno sapeva niente. Qualsiasi nostra richiesta a loro dire necessitava la chiamata alla polizia, ma naturalmente questa informazione ci è stata riferita accompagnata dall’avvertimento che la chiamata alla polizia avrebbe comportato il nostro obbli
