Hotel Belleza

really bad exprience，the hotel has been charge us without any authorization or notification. on the first day, we check in, they charged us US25 without any invoice/notication/authoization. and when the last day check-out, we asked if we can enjoy free late check-out, they said yes. then we stayed around 1 hour longer. when we come back to our country, we found that there is an unknown charge. Trip.com helped me to negotiate with them. they said it is the late check out charges. by the way, it is unreasonable, because the transaction was on the first day we check in. and we just ask for late check out on the last day (the 5th day), how come the hotel can predict we will ask for that and charged us first? non-sense. beside the date of transaction, if there is a charge, they must give us notification/receipt, but nothing....

Overall pretty decent hotel in a great location. For the price, you get what you pay for, the room was in decent condition. The entrance definitely should be more visible as it was hard to find the place… Parking was not ideal as they suggest you park in a paid parking lot $40 a day that’s a 6 min walk from the actual hotel. The rooms were very pretty though and clean, and the service was friendly! Only complaint really is the lack of counter/storage in the ADA king bed room… there is a single sink that you would find in a powder room, with no counter or cabinets. Wasn’t too expensive especially given the close location, so would come back to this hotel. Also, I would say that I wouldn’t visit if you’re looking for a quieter stay as the walls are pretty thin and there were definitely some rowdy late night guests. Thats many places in SoBe though, so was expecting as much.

I don't recommend staying here for several reasons. The first is that the the hotel did not respond to my repeated requests and report of having left a large and valuable medicine pouch in the bathroom. Any reputable hotel would retain a forgotten item. I was told a manager Yuri would return my many calls, but he failed to do so. I was told the staff would speak to housekeeper who cleaned the room that day but despite many calls, no luck. Most of my calls went to voicemail as they do not have staff that man the desk most of the day. Those that do eventually answer are pleasant but ineffective. Manager "Yuri" failed despite 4 messages left for him over a 6 day period. There is no pool. There is no restaurant. The facilities are dated. The prices are high. You don't get what you pay for. But the failure to retain and return my valuable medicine pouch was the clincher to me representing the complete indifference to guests and their responsibility to protect forgotten and valuable property.

While our actual stay at Hotel Belleza was great, be warned, they will charge you for ANY stain in your linens. Pillow cases, sheets, even TOWELS. Are you serious? As a woman, who wears mascara, yes there is going to be mascara left on a towel from washing my face. And this will also come out when the linens are properly cleaned. Truly ridiculous. No normal hotel charges fees for stained linens.
