Burleigh Surf Apartments

Location nearly 2km from Burleigh Head but close to bus stop up and down the coast including 777 to airport. . Is close to Miami few eating places except Miami Rice Chinese nice. Burleigh north surf club terrible service . Reception open limited times so forget about luggage storage with early or late flight schedules. Roadworks overnight no sleep single glazed windows noisy . l make sure these are complete before booking. View from 13a annazinv annd sun all day only thing about this place but avoid this room in summer months. Bathrooms mould and grubby and carpets worn and stained.

Don’t stay here, save yourself the grief and money! Management has just charged us $220 in cleaning fees for stains on the dining chairs that we did not make! As it was a short three night holiday and I wanted a break from cooking, I explained that we ate out for all meals (apart from some snacks that the children ate in the living room) and hence did not use at the dining table and chairs. Management stated that we should have reported the stains however I reiterated that I did not sight the stains as we did not use the area. Management did not care to hear us out and accused us of lying, they were determined to charge us $220. It is infuriating that they can do what they want and we have no recourse in the matter! They charged us and sent us an email to advise of the fact and did not bother to call to discuss the matter. In general, our stay was disappointing. The apartment block is dated and worn and poorly maintained. The shower screens in the bathroom leaked water everywhere and were a complete falls hazzard. Management were passive aggressive when I discussed this matter and could not address the situation as the owner was overseas. The hot water was also insufficient, my husband and I had cold showers for two nights! The views are lovely, which they obviously rely on as the apartment block itself and the service was severely lacking! We will never stay here again!

Beautiful location and property!

The ocean view from the apartment was amazing. The kitchen had everything in it that your kitchen at home has. The beach is right across the street, the pools are lovely, shops and paces to eat ae close by. We will definitely be staying again.

Great views, interior needs a big clean! Beautiful views. Wasn’t overly clean (mouldy bathroom, all items in kitchen cupboards needed to be washed before use, sheets were fine but doona covers were dirty) which put an overall dampener to the trip. Washing machine ran but hardly washed clothes? Also we were on level 16 and the sound of the GC hwy was loud, not to mention night works that we weren’t informed of prior to our stay……….
