Peaceful neighborhood with other cabins nearby, but spaced nicely apart. Pine & Cedar trees provide a beautiful mountain atmosphere. Typically very quiet, as there are many cabins that are frequently unoccupied. There is lots of room surrounding cabin front & back with plenty of room for kids to play in the snow. A nice place to relax after a day at Pinecrest. There is everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. Relax on the deck with your drinks & barbeque!
Cabin is close to Mi Wuk Market, Diamond Jim's Restaurant, sandwich shop, and more. Lyon's reservoir is just a 5 min drive up the highway. There are many interesting things to do in Gold Country. Visit Columbia State Park & go panning for gold. Pinecrest Lake offers lots of fun activities including swimming, kayaking, paddle boating, motorboating, and has an ice cream stand & movie night on Fridays. Visit downtown Sonora where you can shop for antiques & explore the old town. Yosemite National Park is approx 1 &1/2 hours away, depending on traffic conditions. Very nice grocery store in Twain Harte, which is approx 8 minutes down the highway. Twain Harte has great restaurants & miniature golfing, and is a wonderful town to visit.
Jamestown, CA, is a charming historic town nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, known for its rich Gold Rush history and quaint, Old West atmosphere. Additional Charges will be added for any additional guests who come without prior approval and there is a pet fee for guests who bring pets. We expect dog owners to clean up all dog waste and place in outdoor trash bins across the street and to not leave dogs unattended.
We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance for any unforeseen need to cancel, including but not limited to weather, air quality, road conditions, illness, or any other factor. You can look up travel insurance or purchase through airbnb.
Stays over 2 weeks will have an additional cleaning fee, collected after booking for bi-monthly cleanings. We provide enough supplies for about a one week stay, if staying longer, guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies needed.
