In the room, when they lifted the sheets, there was a dead cockroach on the mattress. After complaining, the hotel was indifferent. From the moment I entered the hotel, I found that the hotel lobby management was chaotic and the front desk's attitude was very cold. The hotel will not make any compensation or apologize until departure. 😡

For a 3-day trip I needed something affordable and Hotel Ancona is one of the cheapest hotels found in the application, so I was thinking the worst and the truth is that it wasn't. It is a well-kept and fairly clean Hotel, it smells clean from the moment you enter the reception and that is appreciated. The single room is quite small but quite comfortable, my room had a smart TV which was a real surprise (I didn't try it, but the hotel has Wi-Fi so I don't doubt that you can put Netflix, YouTube, etc. on the screen ) In the hotel description it says: Adults Only, so this is not a family hotel. Quite a lot of noise from the other rooms all night and quite a bit of noise in the morning, as I am a heavy sleeper, I didn't give it much importance. The bad point for me is the location. Although the area is accessible, central to a certain extent, in the surroundings you can find EVERYTHING, even the little store on the corner, even the market or even the shopping center, its bad point is that it is not close to any Public Transport, metro and Metrobus is an easy 20min walk, so yes or no you have to get around by taxi/Uber. If you bring a car there is parking but in my opinion it is quite small so perhaps you might not find a place upon your arrival.

I only stayed for half a day. There was an extra Delta Airlines miles promo (stay in one of our rocket mikes hotel, get 3000 extra miles) ,and I arrived late so I thought how bad can it be. Very bad ! It’s a love motel, so you get all the moaning from next doors for free, but that’s not the main issue. The biggest problem is the fact you won’t be able to sleep at all due to never ending noise. They don’t have an elevator (what?Yes!) ,so you can listen to people going up all night, they also trample and stomp the whole night. A secret marchin ,army parade going on ? The worst:there is no restriction for smoking, yikes. Even in the room you get cold cigarette smoke. Finally it’s really hard to reach from Buenavista forum. Like 3 km walking in a dark alley. I arrived at 11 pm and although I was tempted to leave at 11.02 pm I actually stayed till 8 am. In between the 9 hours I found like 4 hours of sleep. Yes I was cheap but I will relax now in the Hilton in Santa Fé. My god, what a terrible choice this ‘Hotel’ Ancona.

I stayed in this bad hotel since 23-May-2023 till 28-May-2023 in rooms 201 and 404. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday there are always loud music at night till morning. Party in every room. No any sound isolation. Visitors are stupid people who don’t respect silence. Administrators do nothing with this music at night. It’s terrible place to stay, if you want just to sleep at night. Wi-Fi is very bad. Only two electric sockets: one for TV, one for personal use. Bad illumination in rooms.
