Roma 168 by Wynwood House

Surprised by some of the negative reviews that I read. Must have had an issue with the water in the past but it has definitely been resolved. Water in our apt. was the best we've had in CDMX--great pressure and plenty of hot water. We travel to CDMX frequently, and have stayed in many apartments and hotels. Mostly we rented through that popular short-term stay website that I'm sure you know, but as city has gotten more expensive in recent years, the prices of those short stay apartments have gotten much less competitive with hotels, so I thought I'd check out the hotels available.  I used a popular travel site, searching for hotels, and came across Queretaro by Wynwood.  Wow--nice looking apartments at a very good rate. We chose the smallest offering and although compact, studio apartment was stylishly decorated--high quality furniture, and nicely designed space. It is exactly as it appears in the photos only better in person. This small unit was filled with light as there was a bank of windows on both ends of the apartment, with black out shades. Shower and toilet, is tiny, but functional. High quality bedding and towels. Well-equipped kitchen and nice dishes, 2 burner ceramic top stove. K-size bed very comfortable--softer than is typical in CDMX. Doorperson 24 - 7, but only to manage entry. One negative: General info is not provided by management as to cleaning, etc. HIGHLY recommend though. Free laundry in basement. AND pet friendly! One of the best values in Roma N

Almost perfect but a miss This hotel property would’ve received full stars from us except that the shower does not drain and you have to stand in a puddle of water that looks like it’s coming up from a dirty pipe while you’re showering. I did contact the hotel about this and still have not heard back from them.

I’ve been in this property before, this time the room was not as clean as before, there were some recent stains on the couch, tea bags among the cushions, the room had a weird wooden smell. Additionally the wifi strength was really weak to the point I ended up using my phone as a hotspot.
