Hotel Punto MX

I love this hotel, it's beautiful and in a fantastic location. I have stayed here many times. Sadly this last visit customer service has dropped drastically. Reception makes you feel unwelcome, not even a smile. I asked for the wifi password, they just pointed at a sign, not even bothering to look up. The refrigerator didn't work, when I called reception they said they would send someone. I waited, then called after 4 hours of no one showing up. They said to late, but didnt even bother to inform me. Wifi didnt work on the TV, reception told me the smart tv's don't work, even though they always worked previously. We stayed 6 days, moved to suite on 2nd day as my brother was in it the days prior, upon moving rooms, reception pretty much told me leave my luggage and come come back later to switch rooms. It felt very rude and dismissive. Other hotels would let me check in, then offer to move my luggage into room when ready. Here i pretty much felt like he told me to get lost and come back later. Very uncomfortable. Spoke to supervisor the next day, pretty much night reception lied about the tv in order to not be bothered. This hotel needs to train the reception on better customer service, as they are the face of the company and it's not looking good.

We had an amazing time visiting this hotel! I booked it through my chase rewards points and I’m so glad i did! I read the reviews and decided to try it. It’s our first time in Mexico City and we had a beautiful experience. Our hotel package included breakfast. It was buffet style and you can also order hot breakfast. Our serve Raul was extraordinary. He is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to speak with. His service was exquisite. After our first day he knew our drink and food order. We would definitely come back just to see him.
