I work per diem in Mexia and have stayed here half a dozen times over the past three years, from a couple of nights to a couple of months. Yes, the buildings are older and have a few "wrinkles". The main thing is that any issue I've ever encountered (from furniture to appliances) has been promptly addressed and corrected! The care that goes into this property is reflected in the very clean and well maintained swimming pool, absolutely awesome and very appreciated! The family is very friendly and accommodating. A plus (in my book) is that as riders themselves, they are motorcycle friendly. I will continue coming here any time I'm in town. For the best rates, book directly with the office. I frequently travel and have stayed in several motels in this price range around the country, including corporate facilities. This is one of the best!
