Metropolitan City of Naples Hotels with Wifi

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

The stuff are polite ,welcoming and nice ,close to central station by walking ,the breakfast buffet is good ,you can have sweets ,juice and coffee unlimited, the negatives are old building, old furniture and bathrooms but still functioning, my room had no close power plugs to the bed and i was in high need to check my phone over the whole night which made me forced to wake up from the bed going to the table where i could attach the phone . For those who ask about : No built-in safe inside the rooms ,no kittle ,no refrigerator There is air-conditioning, good noise isolation

I had a short overnight stay so the location is ideal about 400m walking from the main train station. Although a good location it is not a good area at night, a lot of homeless people but there are also some nice restaurants on Garabaldi Square and good coffee shops nearby for pastries and coffee for breakfast. The Hotel reception is on the 2nd floor of the building, big staircase and as others say no lift. Not good for older people or if you have big luggage to carry. The Checkin was fine, the man explained the basics and took me to my room. The cleanliness was perfect, so clean, plenty of fresh white towels, and bathroom was spotless, no problem there. He also gave me the remote control for the air conditioning and that also worked really great so you could sleep well. Bed was fine, seemed clean also, as someone said Quirky decoration. And surprisingly quiet. So if you aren’t after a fancy hotel room it’s fine. Only Basic liquid soap amenity supplied. The Front door is locked at 8 pm, and the hotel rooms access, they give you a keys to access, so it seems quite safe, closing early in that area is probably a good thing . Easy to walk to the Old Town and all the sights.

The room was very clean and comfortable. One thing to note is that the lower level of the double bed is a bit low, but it's not a big problem. The six-bed room has a balcony, which makes people feel happy. The public toilet is very clean and convenient. The most praiseworthy thing is that the guy at the front desk is very friendly. He took the initiative to help me carry my suitcase up and down the stairs, and asked me if I wanted to take a taxi to the airport. This is the first time I have met such friendly staff, and they are very considerate!

Not much experience in European hotels, but I’d imagine this is a typical business hotel with no frills. Basic room, basic service, breakfast to give you energy, but nothing more than that. The room had a moldy smell and was very basic. Location is very good if you need to access the central train station as it’s literally connected. It’s not a bad hotel for the price you pay and keep your expectations in line.

The area is an excellent compromise between expensive places and dodgy areas, literally ten minutes walk from the station and half an hour from the center (we always went on foot without problems). Very clean, impeccable, new room with everything you need, I would even say quiet because it overlooked an internal courtyard. The terrace is nice. Quick check in and very quick response on the phone when we arrived. A special mention for the lady who cleaned the rooms in the morning, because she was kind, gave us lots of advice and her impeccable work was evident. Super recommended!

The location of the hotel is absolutely good, only 5 minutes away from the train station, and there are many restaurants around. There are staff on duty at the hotel, and you can check in directly. I feel good overall, there is hot water for bathing and a bed for sleeping. Don't expect too much for other things, after all, the price is not expensive.

The hotel is in a good location, with convenient transportation and dining. It is suitable for traveling around by train. There are restaurants on the left side of the downstairs, and there are always various special police patrols. It is not very convenient to turn right and it is a bit messy. There is a good dim sum restaurant nearby, where you can eat simple Chinese food and noodles. The hotel breakfast looks quite good, but the quality is mediocre. Many of the tableware is not very clean. It is recommended to pay attention when taking it. The room with volcano view has a great view!

Beautiful cozy hotel, close to the railway station. In the room there are 2 bottles of water as a gift, a mini-bar, slippers, many soft towels. There is enough space for one person. Despite the small area of ​​the room, everything is comfortable, thought out, compact. But there is no kettle. Breakfast is a la carte. In the hotel garden there is a small pool, sun loungers, a towel for the pool - all without extra charge.
