Friendly, helpful staff
Wonderful staff greeted us and assisted us at Maison Monte Chiaro. A fantastic view, nice breakfast, extremely friendly staff . Not too close to the beach but the view is worth it.

Struttura molto carina, in una posizione strategica per visitare la costiera: si trova a meno di 10 minuti dalla spiaggia, tra Positano ed Napoli.
Comodissimo il parcheggio privato.
Il rooftop è la perla di questo hotel: magnifica la vista sul Vesuvio.
D’altro canto, siamo rimaste deluse dalla colazione: scelta estremamente limitata e per avere altre cose bisognava chiedere ogni volta. Ho visto pochissimi prodotti tipici e i succhi di frutta non erano tali.
Per quanto riguarda la pulizia, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato tutto perfetto. Durante il soggiorno però la camera veniva rifatta in modo molto approssimativo, l’aspirapolvere non veniva passata e le salviette non venivano cambiate.
Peccato anche per la piscina che apre solo alle 10..
siamo comunque molto soddisfatte!!

I stayed here in June 2024 with my family. The property is very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were modern and so were the bedrooms . Our bathroom had an amazing view of the volcano and sea which was lovely. The breakfast was quite basic and could be better- there was an extra charge required for fried eggs/ omelettes. The property is in vico equense- a small town 20 minutes from Sorrento. I found the location very inconvenient. The hotel shuttle bus only takes you to the local beach/ marina and Vico Equense train station. From there you have to take another train to Sorrento ( like 20 min train). From the hotel to Sorrento after taking a shuttle bus and a train it would take us around 1.5 to 2 hours to get there which was a real pain ! The shuttle bus would take around 40 minutes to get to the train station after picking up other guests from other hotels, then you would have to wait for the train. I think this is why the hotel is slightly cheaper than ones in Sorrento so please bare this in mind. The hotel in general was clean, safe and had lovely views of the Amalfi coast. There is a lovely sun roof on the third floor which you can see the whole Amalfi coast from . I would give this place 7/10 in general . Also there are no cafes / restaurants near the hotel which is also inconvenient. The location is not the best so please bare this in mind, we found it very tiring going back and forth to the hotel then to Sorrento .

We had a great stay at this property. The staff was amazing and super helpful. The location was quite but also convenient for everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!
