Excellent apartments with everything necessary. There is a kitchen, large rooms, free parking and convenient location in the city. The room has a balcony with a sunrise lie and a table. There is a safe and a big refrigerator. Nearby is a good supermarket and plenty of cafes

Pros: Location: few steps from city center, train station and close to attractions like the amphitheater and Rione Terra. Structure: Historical building that dates from the XVI century, passing through many owners, one of them an Italian archaeologist (where the name came from). Carefully and smartly restored with detailed attention; symmetrical corridors, stairs and arches. Rooms: Really comfy. We got a room with loft, very comfy, perfect for families and complete of kitchenette. Food: The bistrot in the ground floor. All breakfasts were served in the courtyard (chic dining under the stars!) with individual trays (continental breakfast, croissant, melba toasts, yogurt, sweet mousse, butter, juices and hot beverage). Possible to have others like omelettes at an extra cost. In one occasion we had lunch there which we ordered a pasta dish, club sandwich and beverages, were plentiful. Services: we appreciated the most: carpark and laundry room. Staff: All professional and friendly, the most sympathetic are the restaurant guys. Cons: Wasn’t a big issue but a deeper cleansing of the rooms, some repairing, repainting and removing molds will make it not just great but grandiosely outstanding! We adored staying there and we missed it when we arrived to our next hotel. P.S.1 There are some Roman era structures in the premises of this hotel like the cistern, not in good shape to visit and lots of Roman era artifacts were found here and they are exposed in the museum-castle in Bacoli under the street name. P.S.2 Certain times can smell the rotten-eggs smell, is normal we are in the Phlegraean Fields.

Okay hotel with flaws, very far from the city! However if you take this hotel you need a car or a scooter (rent). Food is ok, staff is ok, not the best. Tips: Don't let the staff order taxi for you they call a friend and he over charge you! Almost the triple of a normal price. It should cost around 30 euro to city. They tried to charge us almost 120. Called the staff and asked what is this he said not my problem. Name is Dario stay away from him, very cheeky. Name of the driver is Antonio! If I ever go back to Napoli i would never stay at this hotel due to the location and due to the one staff member order us that taxi.

We stayed one night at the Grand Hotel Serapide. Excellent service and we were deeply impressed by the view from our hotel room. The hotel is state of the art, clean, comfortable and brand new. Sergio, one man for everything was outstanding. Concierge, manger at the reception and speaks excellent English. When we are back to Naples we will book the Grand Hotel Serpide again. Beautiful,peaceful location away from the busy city centre,but 29 minute walk to the Mostra D’Oltremare conference centre. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. My room was spacious,bed comfortable and the terrace outside was welcoming,as were the pastries and little snacks at the bar. The hotel cats were charming company when I sat outside. I ate dinner in the hotel twice,the grilled prawn salad and the beef tagliata were tasty. Breakfast is continental style and good variety. My only very minor comment is the bathtub was small. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the pool and the lovely terraces.
