With children, having two beds solves the problem. It happened to be very hot in Venice, and I found that the air conditioner was relatively old and could be used. The facilities are generally quite old.

Positive: Conveniently close (we hauled our luggage) to the Trenitalia station that connects to Trieste (cruise ship port). A variety of small restaurants within walking distance in case you have a late flight arrival.
Negative: you climb stairs from the street level to the lobby level. From the lobby, there are more levels to climb to your room. No elevator, in case you are hauling your luggage yourself.

I stayed there with my mother for 3 nights. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and of decent size. The hotel is just a 5m walk to the train ans bus stop to go to Venice, very convenient. We didn’t really explore what was around, but there were plenty of food options close by. I would recommend for people who want to easily commute to Venice. :)

Good value for an overnight stay
We just needed a quiet and clean place to sleep before a flight in the morning.
This hotel was a good solution. Very basic, but clean, quiet and not too expansive.
The location is safe and the nearby restaurant Antica Hostaria Dante Alighieri was a great surprise.

Great all around Hotel A+
Price is right, location is about 10 minute walk from train station. Area is quiet and safe. Breakfast is great at 6 or 7 Euros (I can't remember which). Hotel is a little older with no elevator but they keep it very clean. What sets this hotel apart is the friendly staff. They are willing to help in anyway possible. They speak great English too. They accomidated us on a few travel issues we had that they didn't have to. They just said, "we understand these things happen when you travel and if we can help, we will". I would stay here again without a second thought!

Très bon séjour
Très bon séjour, accueil irréprochable toujours au petit soin, dommage qu'au petit déjeuner il ni est pas du vrai pain., Il a été dommage aussi qu'on est été obligé de retourné un matelas pour ne pas sentir les ressorts. Mais après une petite manipulation tout est rentré dans l'ordre et je pense qu'il ni aurait eu aucun souci vu la gentillesse du responsable si nous avions fait une demande pour un matelas plus convenable.
Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel à 5 mn à pied de la gare.
