Tasso is an incredible hotelier, he was very hospitable and generous with his time and knowledge. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, but we would go back for the hospitality!

It was a great experience to stay at this accommodation. You feel like you're in a medieval castle which is something different than a normal room. Everything blends in the aura of Mesta. Tasos is an exceptional host and helps you whenever you need something. It was spotless, had a comfortable bed and lovely lighting. It was situated near an entrance and had a sweet shop(Kanellos) with loukoumades next to it. The best place to eat and have a coffee.

We stayed at the Lida Mary in October 2023 in the magical village of Mesta on the Island of Xios, Greece. This place is not to be missed. It's a walled village with winding stone walkways and friendly people. The owner of Lida Mary, Tasos, really made our trip. He recommended places to visit, arranged our rides and was always available for questions. He went out of his way to make our trip even more special. He suggested that we take a ride to the nearby village of Pyrgi and visit the Mastic Museum. We did this for a day trip and would recommend it if you have the time. Pyrgi is larger than Mesta with more shops and interesting buildings and churches to visit. The museum was more interesting that I anticipated and has much of the history of the mastic trees on Xios. I doubt we would have visited either if not for Tasos' recommendation. The rooms in the Lida Mary are charming, clean and just off the central square. We stayed in the Koukouvaya Suite, which we loved. It was spacious, clean and quiet with a nice outdoor sitting area. Others in our party stayed in the Livadi Tzaki and Megalo Livadi suites, which share an outdoor deck and are nice for a small group sharing the space. They have steep stairs for access, if stairs are a concern. Tasos was right there though to help anyone with their bags. Thank you, Tasos for a wonderful stay. We would love to return to Mesta!

The suite called Megalo Livadi where I stayed is absolutely great! Especially the view to the square and the big interior yard are magnificent. Everything was in order and the owner was extremely helpful! Mesta is a great castle village but car is needed. Thanks Tasos for helping this great trip !

Ένα ξενοδοχείο έκπληξη. Ένα χωριό που όσα κι αν έχεις ακούσει είναι λίγα. Τα δωμάτια πέτρινα όπως όλο το χωριό , ρομαντικά, με λίγα μοντέρνα twist, πεντακάθαρα και άνετα. Ο Τάσος είναι ο φίλος σου που σε περίμενε στο χωριό του να σε φιλοξενήσει. Έτσι σε βλέπει έτσι νιώθεις. Είναι εκεί με ένα χαμόγελο, για να στα δείξει όλα. Αξίζει
