Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort

This resort is nice. We did have an issue that the fridge didn't work and the jacuzzi tub didn't work. Neither of those were resolved for the entire time we were there. That's unfortunate because we weren't able to put anything into the fridge while we were there. Also we arrived and we had to wait till exactly 4 o'clock in order to check into our room. Even though we came at one o'clock and it didn't look like there was really anybody at the resort. They made us wait until exactly 4:00 o'clock which is check in and would not give us our room any earlier. That's the first time that we've ever gone to Arizona and stayed at a resort where they did not at least attempt to put you in a room. This is a mid level resort and you really get what you pay for here. Also, our room was full of fruit flies and we could not seem to get rid of them. We never had any food in our room because we didn't have a fridge, so it must have been from the previous people that were in there. There was a family staying next to us with little children and the walls are paper thin and the kids would be screaming all night. because most of the rooms are a lock off. You are very close to your neighbors. And so you hear absolutely everything that goes on in the room next door.

We had a very pleasant stay. The pool and grounds were kept very clean. We had a remodeled room, which was done nicely. The beds and furniture were super comfy. It was quiet and we felt extremely safe. The staff were all very kind and polite. The only slightly negative comment I can think of was that the floor wasn't perfectly clean in a few areas. Other than that, we will return.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. The room was very clean, spacious and with a very large comfy bed. The hotel itself has lovely grounds surrounding it and a couple of pools. It is slightly dated but personally we felt this added to its charm. Our one complaint was the noise. The walls were so thin if felt like the noisy woman on the phone in the next room was sat next to us. We also got woken up by kids being loud late at night
