A lovely little property with a few rooms with some apartments surrounding it. The property is located the other side of the river it’s about. 15/20 min walk to Mertola town also it’s on a single track at times. There is a small pool onsite which is handy to cool down and breakfast is available but we went in Mertola town try a couple of local cafes , it’s a great place to relax and chill watching nature.

Fantastic view onto Mertola. Quiet and nice Quinta, albeit outside of town. You might need a car if you want to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms simple but nice. If back in Mertola that is where I would stay. Ask for a room on the side of the fortress for better views of the city.

Petite structure hôtelière magnifique avec la plus belle vue sur le village de Mertola, la rivière, et la campagne. Un vrai havre de paix et un cocon avec une déco soignée et un très bon petit déjeuner. Terrasse pour profiter de la vue sur le village et la rivière quand la chambre ne le permet pas. Notre chambre avec balcon vue rivière et montagne était très confortable et à notre avis la plus tranquille et la plus intime, sans vis à vis. La piscine est un vrai plus et très agréable. Il faut juste être prêt à être excentré et avoir un véhicule.

2 dias maravilhosos! 2 adultos e uma criança, ficamos no apartamento T1, super confortável. A piscina com vista rio e para Mértola é de cortar a respiração... Sentimo-nos em casa e com certeza absoluta vamos voltar muito em breve. Para quem procura descanso é a melhor opção, não se vão arrepender.

Uma boa estadia e uma excelente escapadinha de fim-de-semana. Numa vila bem enquadrada com o Alentejo. A Quinta do Vau fica na outra margem do Rio, mas com uma vista fantástica para Mértola e para o seu Castelo. Uma boa experiência vivida recentemente. O quarto escolhido revelou-se um pouco pequeno perante o esperado pelas fotografias, a zona da piscina também estava bastante concorrida mas de acordo com as expectativas, uma vez que a mesma não é muito grande e a Quinta estava cheia. A vista para a Vila e Castelo é melhor para quem fica em quartos sem cozinha, se bem que pode aproveitar da zona de esplanada e vislumbrar a vila (aconselho a faze-lo de noite).

Que local tão agradável, fica numa zona muito tranquila, tive a sorte de ficar no melhor quarto com vistas para o Castelo de Mértola e para o Riu, cama bastante ampla e confortável, a casa de banho tem uma banheira que dá um toque de design mas falta o tradicional duche pois não é pratico de o fazer na mesma, pessoal muito simpático e bom pequeno almoço, mas sem dúvida a vista da varanda o quarto é fantástica, o quarto tem uma pequena cozinha que permite fazer refeições. A repetir!

Super lieu très agréable avec piscine et espace pour ce détendre. Accueil charmant, chambre agréable avec balcon agréable pour prendrr l'air le soir et petit déjeuner très bien. Si vous aimez la campagne et que vous passez dans ce coin, ne pas hésiter.
