Overall way a lovely relaxing stay. The resort is generally clean and well maintained. The rooms we booked were spacious and have a nice view on the beach. The breakfast is good but the quality and the cooking could be better.
The beach is not large but there were always spots available. The water is calm and warm (in September) as it is an artificial bay not the open sea water making it very suitable for families with small kids. This is a plus since the many days the mediterranean can be high and unswimmable. The sea bed has some black sand underneath with faul odour but generally it is covered and not directly noticeable.
The main downside is the location. It is about 30 minutes drive from the city center, with virtually no services around. One has to order either a taxi or have a car to move around. But there are delivery services if you need food if you ask the reception, as it might require an arabic speaker.
Lastly, the staff are very friendly and were always eager to help.

The hotel in general is very good, we enjoyed our 4 days stay there.
There were some comments to be considered:
1) the WIFI network is very week their network passwords are always not working due to max. limit of users reached.
2) the food quality is very good, but the variety is limited, refill is done.
3) My reservation was Halve Board (Breakfast & Dinner) but during the dinner and Lunch all drinks were not included, and you have to pay for them
4) it is better if you have sea shoes, the sea sand has some small stones and some plants, but it is accepted.

十月份的馬特魯應該是淡季了，客人不多，房價便宜，酒店離Cleopatra Beach海灘大概十分鐘腳程，酒店在埃及算乾淨了，有自己的沙灘，環境也挺美，早餐豐富，主要是白人飯，但味道不錯，酒店保安管理嚴格，每次叫車，保安都要嚴格登記，並詢問你去哪裡，什麼時候回來，保證客人安全，這點非常好。總體來説這個酒店在馬特魯已非常好了。
唯一的缺點就是洗澡水是黃的，過濾不乾淨，所以感覺洗不乾淨，但在埃及尤其馬特魯這種地方可以接受，總體不錯。

太差了！就這水準還好意思説自己度假村？因為馬特魯市區的酒店都不太好，特意選了一個離市區遠點的度假村，一進酒店就感覺自己進了鄉村招待所，訂房時看到是2024開業的，實際上感覺像開了十幾年一樣老舊！花灑都是生銹的，床單也是起球的，到處看起來臟兮兮的。早餐也很差勁，咖啡竟然是速溶的，600多一晚的基礎房型，相對於馬特魯當地物價，真的太貴了，在埃及住過最差勁的酒店！最主要的是酒店wifi慢到離譜，網頁全都打不開，電話卡在酒店信號也很差，真的踩雷！！！

這是我最中肯的評價，在馬特魯這個地方，一千多塊包兩餐，有私人沙灘，有乾淨的泳池，大房間，還能進嘴的自助餐，這是很不錯的選擇。希望以下我的建議能給即將前往馬特魯的朋友一些提醒，千萬不要圖便宜去外面住那種私人公寓，一整個臟亂差，鎮上的飲食就沒有好吃的，還存在宰人現象。馬特魯的公共海灘説白了就是埃及本地人去耍海度假的地方，埃及人收入能有多高？可以想象服務和品質，最重要成堆的阿拉伯人在你旁邊瘋狂打鬧，你這個錢花的是少，捫心自問快樂嗎？不如就在廣西或者什麼不知名的海灘呆著可能都沒這麼糟心。

酒店有自己的私人海灘，吃完早飯去海灘躺着很舒服。唯一不好的就是酒店的自助晚餐並不好吃，建議用客房服務點餐，不要去樓下吃自助餐。除此之外很滿意，在馬特魯住這裏，可以找前台聯繫包車司機一日遊，我們住了3天，在酒店躺了兩天，一天出去玩，很方便。離馬特魯之眼那個海灘很近，離市區較遠，但埃及打車便宜，所以還算可以。推薦入住。
