Führungsprobleme spiegeln sich oft in gemeinten Selbstverständlichkeiten wider. So wie am Samstag nach dem Valentinstag als wir uns als Barbesucher um 1700 eher als Störfaktor statt als Gäste fühlen. Kühle Raumtemperatur, kein Kaminfeuer, kein Barpianist (kam erst um 1800), genügend, aber eher spezielles Personal, das nach meinem Gusto kaum alles Gastro Fachpersonal sein konnte. Sie schienen nämlich eher gelangweilt zu sein. Nun gut, im Vergleich zu anderen Betrieben wie z.B. Capuccino Gstaad, Delta Park Gwatt, Viktoria Interlaken u.ä. werden wir vor 1800 die Bar Beatus wohl eher vom Vorbeifahren sehen. Schade, um die doch renommierte Adresse an Toplage (....

Winter-Special im Spa-Hotel Beatus, hoch gerühmt...unsere Vorfreude war eben so hoch. Von der ersten Begegnung an der Reception bis zur Verabschiedung erlebten wir drei Tage voller Höhepunkte. Mit einem Cüpli begrüsst, nett-kompetent informiert. ruhiges Zimmer mit Ausblick auf den Thunersee, Niesen...Solebad und diverse Sauna-Kammern usw. Kulinarikerlebnisse auf höchstem Niveau. In Momenten der Verliebtheit, getragen von der Hoffnung 'es möge doch so bleiben' - so ähnlich erlebten wir die verwöhnten drei Tage. Im Programm stand auch der monatlich Kleinkunstbeitrag, doch im Januar erlebten wir grosse Kunst: Lisa Christ gestaltete den Cabaret-Abend. Unsere verliebte Vorfreude hält an bis zum nächsten Mal. Wir waren im Beatus für einen Dayspa Aufenthalt, geblieben sind wir mit Umziehen etwa 40 Minuten. Die Aussicht ist schön, leider war alles Andere nicht zufriedenstellend. -Twint wird nicht akzeptiert -Umkleidekabine nicht nach Geschlecht getrennt -Sprudel- und Whirlpoolfunktion scheint nicht zu funktionieren und wenn, hält sie relativ schwach für 1-3 Minuten an (wir wurden dann beim Checkout darauf hingewiesen, dass dies eine "alte Anlage" ist). -Hallenbad-Becken war ziemlich kalt, wobei uns beim Checkout ebenfalls versichert wurde, dass das Wasser 29 Grad warm ist. Zusammengefasst: Eintrittspreis von CHF 40.- pro Person + CHF 10.- Depot für Bänder, für einen 2-Stündigen Aufenthalt definitiv NICHT wert.

Everything was really great, we had a great time. Beautiful view, top suite. Very good food, great bar. Nice wellness. The only downside? The room was not available before 3:45 p.m. That leaves little time to enjoy the services and surroundings if you only spend one night.

Everything is simply perfect here. Friendly welcome at reception with lots of useful information, superbly furnished room with a view of Lake Thun and Niesen, the wellness complex with various saunas and indoor and outdoor pools, various relaxation areas, everything well-kept, clean and comfortable. The menus with a wide selection are excellent, as is the extensive breakfast. The friendly and courteous hotel management with great knowledge and charm caters to all wishes and fulfills them. We will be back and can only warmly recommend the hotel. It is worth a visit; if you have been there once, you will automatically be a repeat offender.
