The staff and facility were outstanding! Everyone was very courteous, and their facility is extremely clean! We stayed here as it was closest to family. All seemed well until we let housekeeping tidy up our room. We arrived back to find they had thrown away food and one of our child's toys. Usually they just empty waste cans, make the bed and leave new towels. At this Hampton they will clean off the counter top above the refrigerator and dispose of things that are not garbage. We were pretty upset but the hotel staff didn't seem to really care. My child was devastated that they would throw away a brand new toy. Be careful what you leave out, it may get tossed.

After reading bad reviews of this place I was worried about staying and almost cancelled our stay. I am glad I didn't. Our room was very good, spacious and clean with a large bathroom with a bath and shower that worked well. The kitchen area had a very large fridge freezer, sink, microwave and hob, all spotlessly clean. It also had a large TV and plenty of storage. The bed was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would change is the very small pillows. The hotel operates a cleaning by request service. You pay extra for the cleaning if you require it. If you need clean towels or bed linen etc you can change it at reception, or wash it yourself in the hotel guest laundry. There is a free to use gym. Also a vending machine in the lobby. The car parking is free and plentiful. There is food available close by. If you want a cheap hotel in Meridian this place is for you. I found it to be perfect for us. We stayed for 17 nights and it saved us at least £1000 compared to other hotels in the area. .
