Pool in central courtyard area good size and depth to swim diametrically across or around. I did see the staff cleaning it in the morning but by early evening there were a fair number of leaves floating. Corridor outside room door big puddle(they overwatered the pot plant!!).Cleaning staff removed all my towels and did not replace. Had to request toilet roll to replenish. The cleaning team were pleasant and sorted it out ,no major issue ,and sign language understood by all! Only one staff member spoke English. Rooms adequate, not spectacular but everything needed Breakfast served ,on request, at the adjoining coffeeshop/bar. Not very imaginative but was prepared fresh . Central location for exploration on foot, immediately surrounding roads a little run down but small cafes, two theatres and cathedral area very near. Stayed two nights at end of a group tour.

Located on the top floor right underneath the aircon units. Loud humming all night. Asked to change rooms, best they could come up with was swap with Tour Leader. Have offered room changes following day. Breakfast was pancakes or pancakes. Even offered more pancakes when moved tables to talk to a fellow traveller. 4 people in restaurant at the time. Rooms are shabby and just a feeling of general apathy from the staff.

We stayed on a group tour. This is clean functional hotel. We had large room with two queen beds and large shower room. Really efficient air con. Good shower room with hot water. The breakfast in the morning was tasty cheese omelette with the usual refried beans and very lightly toasted white bread with jam provided. Coffee ok. There is a swimming pool in the hotel we did not use it. The big bonus for this hotel is location as it is only a 5 min walk to Zocalo/ Grande Plaza

The service and sleep was amazing, I spent the night there and it was the best experience I had on this trip, the only reason I am rating this 4 stars instead of 5 is because in some of the rooms the AC doesn't work, this happened to me and they gave us a new room.

Not a clean hotel. Bathroom mouldy, hairs in shower, toilet habdle coming away in my hand. .there seemed to be only one guy to clean all the rooms. Hotel doing things on the cheap. Reception areas dusty and poorly cleaned. Terrible breakfast, may be due to our being with a group. Only positive is location.

Struttura molto comoda per visitare il bellissimo centro di Merida che dista solo 5 minuti a piedi. Quartiere un po’ chiassoso ma non abbiamo avuto problemi a dormire. Bella piscina interna. Camere spaziose e pulite. Bagno pulito. Wifi ok.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I booked a room for 3 nights through ************ and on the same evening of the first night even before I arrived, my room was suddenly canceled by the front desk. The reason would be that my card could not be charged. However, this cannot be the reason as I have made numerous bookings through ************ and the amount should be paid at the accommodation anyway. Without further ado, they gave my space to others. I arrived at 11:00 at night and was informed about it spontaneously. The receptionist's behavior was disrespectful and he couldn't really explain why we couldn't check in at night. He wasn't even helpful in helping us find another hotel at short notice at night so we didn't have to sleep on the street. I have never experienced something like that. The communication, the behavior of the receptionist and the failure to honor reservations (which, by the way, is still shown as confirmed on ************!!) is unacceptable. I would not recommend booking with this hotel, as you cannot be sure that you will get your room despite a confirmed reservation.

Our room overlooked the street and the windows let the noise through. the street is very noisy. Furthermore there was a lot of noise from other hotel guests and the sound insulation is very limited.
