Ich habe diesen Ort ausgewählt,weil man dort den Sonnenuntergang sehen kann. Als ich dann ankam,hatte ich ein Zimmer direkt am Wasser! Ein Traum!!! Türe auf,drei Schritte nach rechts und ich stand im Wasser! Vom Wasser aus sind beide Vulkane zu sehen,wenn man ein bisschen hinaus schwimmt. Die Familie ist super nett und lieb,sie organisieren einen Scooter,eine Massage,bieten Touren an mit einem sehr professionellen Guide und haben eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte - das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Frühstück ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind magisch so wie die Insel. Fahrradverleih, Wäscheservice,ein sehr idyllischer ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen! Ich war 15 Tage dort und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

My and my family just had the most spectacular Christmas eve on the lake at the Hospedaje los Chocoyos; the place offers all you need to rest and relax but without the busyness of the most crowded and touristy spots. If you are looking for a clean, well organized establishment this little gem has it all, including a little restaurant for your included breakfast everyday. Perfect for those ones looking for the original island's vibes!

Wow wow wow! I can’t find the right words to describe my experience at this hostel! It’s been more than amazing and exceeded all my expectations! The hostel is in the most amazing part of the island in my eyes and it’s right by the lake with a rope swing, sunsets and views are INCREDIBLE! The rooms are simple but super clean and cozy. But that’s just that, what made the experience exceptional was the family that runs the place! Wow! From the first second I arrived I felt like part of their family, everyone was SO SWEET and welcoming. Any question I had was answered with so much love and effort, the food the ladies make is sooo good too and super convenient to wake up, have breakfast and the best coffee on the island! Absolute gem this place! If I had the time, id have stayed for a month or longer, maybe forever 😅 I’ll be back, no doubt! 120% recommended!
